Just started archery! I have to put some fur because my bow is vibrating too much after I shoot an arrow..(not sure if its related to what is my position or the bow itself haha)

Thank you very much Lilly. It’s a very good, practical and informative video. This kind of bow is exactly what I was thinking about to start with. Very appreciated!

What is the spray you used for the bolt holes? I couldn't hear it. You talked me into the bow; at least to try.

Not going to lie they are good bows, when there good. Alot unfortunately have limb splitting issue's. But you get whst you pay for. Im going into archery to compete, and unfortunately yes you do need a good reliable bow, that will cost you alot. These cheaper bows are a hit and miss. Ive heard horror storys about this model, but im glad yours worked out ok.

i shot several beginner class bows at the club and tried some at a shop. At the end of the day i walked out with a Samick Sage.
With 30 lbs draw it shoots very accurate and easy for me. After a while i will get a better compettion bow, but the Samick Sage is the perfect training bow.
Easy to adjust. Sometimes i train with a 5 lbs less limbs pair, to be able to easily shoot for a longer time. For traditional, you can't go wrong to start on this.

I bought this bow with 25-55 lbs limbs. I can put it to 25 lbs. How does the 30lbs limbs feel when you draw and How does it feel when you draw de 25-55 lbs that is tuned to 25lbs? I am thinking about bying 30 lbs legs but do I have to??

Imho its not a takedown bow if you need a hexkey. I only consider bows that has this knob as a takedown in my mind.

You can start at any weight you want really. If it's too heavy, just start by pulling the string back and back into rest position until you can comfortably draw and hold for a few seconds. Then you can start shooting and working on form

Hi Lilly, im a prepper in the UK, i have watched your channel a few times, i watch Nate at canadian prepper a lot

I have just ordered a samick sage myself, originally i wanted a bow in a complete set, from a local company, they called it the "hunter kit" but they didnt have any available, so i made my own kit on their website, using the samick sage as the bow, then got all of the kit parts separately, and it worked out around the same cost

One thing i have thought about regarding prepping is, making bow strings and arrows, the bow itself should last a good many years, but the string is what i would call a "wear part" and arrows can snap, bend, the vanes/flights and nocks can be destroyed, and it would be good to be able to make all your own parts in a SHTF situation, because i can imagine the bow being the only thing left after so long

Ammunition for guns runs out, and you cant really make more, knives are ok, you can sharpen them, but there not really good for hunting, so, preppers need to figure out how to keep their bows in fully working condition, by making their own strings and arrows

Good stuff. I am considering the Safe because of its support, with replacement limbs, parts, etc. I grew up shooting scout camp bows, then a homemade primitive bow because I was poor 😂 So, I have experience more with a recurve style of archery than compound (bought a compound and hated it), so I want to get into it with a proper bow and have a backyard archery range cuz that’s totally legal where I live
