My question though is if nobody has succeeded in alchemy, wouldn’t that mean the book is not the perfect place to start? Seems like people would have made some progress with such a good head start.
ОтветитьNiz 2 b here
ОтветитьI love _ut channel and how you show linguistic respect for the energies and cultures you speak on.⚛️🪄🌟⚖️
ОтветитьThanks for your work! (:
ОтветитьMaybe the Metals correspond to the Sephorah on the Tree of Life (ie, tin= Chesed, gold=Tiphareth). The Transformations might be a secret code for changes in consciousness.
ОтветитьThis reminds Me of The Voynich Manuscript - Especially The Illustrations & Lean On Natural vs. Artificial (Lab-Made &/or Intelligence / Technology etc.)
ОтветитьAny videos on Muḥammad ibn Umayl al-Tamīmī?
ОтветитьMuad'dib?--hilarious!
ОтветитьHello, where might the book Nicholas Flamel found be placed in your lineup of books on alchemy? It might not meet your criteria as it seems to be a personal journal.
ОтветитьWhen I strike it rich, Esoterica, Mystery History, and Praveen Mohan are getting their dues for so many hours of fascinating content I've consumed
ОтветитьAlchemy in a Nutshell by John Dee (OReilly, 2000) is good too.
ОтветитьWhat amazing about this channel, is the number of people who are interested in this subject.
ОтветитьThank you so much for putting out this content. You are delightful.
ОтветитьStart by reading a 60 pages treatise on how cocktails are made, having memorized precisely the definitions of the seven deadly sins. :))
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьEd…..waaaaard
ОтветитьI would love to hear your thoughts on Tartaria.
ОтветитьHad Paul predicted silver had a sulfur:mercury ratio of 47:60 and gold a ratio of 79:118, the text would move beyond fascinating and into utterly earth shattering!
ОтветитьThank you for this very wise and detailed synopsis of how to begin the Great Work.
Ответитьjust started to read/ study, and came over this! :=) Super great/ nice info, & just want to say HI from sweden, stockholm too.=) Just got my 1st alchemy book home, written by swedish couple, @tommywestlund & @katarinafalkenberg !!! Love it.!
ОтветитьMuchas gracias por la información. Muy valiosa.
ОтветитьMy tuition went to pay for that lovely tome you checked out from the UK library. ;)
ОтветитьHi and thank you for this informations that you share. I have question.
What is the reason that you said jaber ibn hayyan was not existed?!!
Am really surprised about it and if its possible i want to know about the evidences that show he was not existed. Thank you very much..
Thank you so much for teaching me.
ОтветитьIt’s like sewing words together making a language.
ОтветитьI’m a practicing alchemist as it relates to minerals.
If you are interested, I would be happy to share some of what I’ve learned.
It is a science of mimicking nature.
Duplicating how minerals grow inside a volcano.
It’s learning how to feed an element, to mature it to its next stage of growth.
Lead can be any element, depending on how much you feed it, and the balance of food.
The art can be use as nature does, to conjoin different elements into a crystal.
Such as chromium into Ruby.
Or it can be used to create new compounds of elements.
Basically to boil it down.
You learn what an atom is made from.
How to add electrons into the atom.
Or how to build an atom, starting with the nucleus, adding the protons and neutrons.
Then add the desired amount of electrons to make the substance you desire.
The labyrinth of the alchemist is the same as the pattern of an atom. If laid flat.
This is incredibly interesting from a development of science perspective!
Sadly, that Brill book costs $600!
Lol “pretentious Latin title, check”. Fan of Justin’s subtle sarcasms and joking idioms.
ОтветитьAs a Canadian listening away from my computer, I thought you said Paul of Toronto! LOL
ОтветитьGranted, I have but a superficial understanding of Alchemy, both as a scientific practice, and in spiritual symbolism, but it seems like there are a few basic theoretical, common core concepts in alchemy when discussing transmutation.
These are:
a) the idea that there is a basic organization of base units that make up "matter"- (the components of "corpuscles" formed, in Gerber's description)
b) that the conditions of the surrounding or the "environment" (temp, pressure, atmospheric parameters or characteristics of components surrounding the base units) influences HOW they organize (i.e. effect the properties of, and resultant production of specific "matter") which is manifested in the alchemical process, (manipulation of corpuscles and or other substrates) and
c) that there are elements introduced into the distillate of base units, which, in conjunction with b) above, direct internal interactions between these base units of "matter", or their derivatives (or in some manner effect interactions between these base units-as seeding does in the formation of crystals), (addition of white or red substance to manifest silver or gold).
Perhaps I am just oversimplifying, and stating the obvious. Certainly there is much more to the field, but these jumped out at me as foundational in the processes of alchemical transmutation-and in my mind could be interpreted on multiple levels - from purely physical to psychological to deeply spiritual. Or maybe I'm totally off base, and blissfully ignorant, out there in left field.
Thank you Esoterica, for your time and efforts in sharing this book, your deeper knowledge of alchemy, and for enlightening those interested in such topics!
Isaac Newton had some thoughts about this. (He was a bit more of a rogue than many realize.) On a side-note, Mercury and/or Lead poisoning. Imagine, theoretically WAY-above-average-intelligence people getting involved with Mercury and Lead, then they just become normal. More "relatable." Like, "Well, I mean, before they got into Alchemy, they were maybe a bit dry, a bit technical, but now they party like animals, and stuff."
ОтветитьIn short, the author of Summa perfectionis is more than just a LARPer (unlike most other alchemists)
ОтветитьTHANK YOU, it can be like pulling teeth for information even when you are a 4th degree.
ОтветитьWhere can I find this book?
ОтветитьHi dude I want to know how do you put the Torah story and hermes trismegistus I'm Jewish btw not religious tho just I want to know how these two storys go along because both of them are 100% real
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThis channel is exactly what I want to listen to while I am gardening! I'm so happy you popped up in my feed.
ОтветитьAy
ОтветитьWent to buy the critical edition and I couldn’t find it for sale anywhere. The book is also only available at college libraries. Kind of a bummer.
ОтветитьWhy do you study alchemy? o.O
ОтветитьDecnamin?
