On the Dice Tower, change infil to lightning and it will knock it down to 23 hours.. Did for me on a neptune 2. Came out perfect.

Looking for the tool holder shown in video. This is my 1st 3D printer and after watching videos for months to decide on which one to go with, this video sold me and 2 prints in, I'm in love. Thanks Uncle Jesse!

I got one of these as my first 3d printer and after printing the included little test buddha (which was perfect) I printed the desert kiss tower as my second print ever and it also turned out perfect using your settings in rainbow PLA.

I have however since been getting some real problems with bed adhesion lately. The first few layers just seem to always lift on larger prints. I can't quite figure out why, even using the same filament, same settings, and playing with everything from extrusion speed to bed temp. Currently printing a really basic decorative hexagon and it kept detaching, so I tried it again at 70c bed temp and it's not detaching but it's still having big problems with lifting off the bed in finer details. Also not dependent on the area, it just seems to do it all over wherever it likes. I've tried cleaning the plate thoroughly with IPA as well.

Other than that though it had a slightly off--square base, which was as easy as loosening two screws on the side that let it lay flat. Other than that, setup was insanely easy and the included software has been crazy beginner friendly.

I have bought 2 of these printers since seeing your review originally. I love the quality, but hate the printer's software. I don't want to update the firmware because that has caused me grief with my ender 3, but sometimes the SD card does not read correctly and it doesn't matter how many times I reset the printer it doesn't fix it. Sometimes renaming the files helps, sometimes formatting the SD card helps, sometimes reslicing with the same name helps, but it happens with both Neptune 2S printers that I have across multiple SD cards.

The printers will show the wrong file names, will show names that are completely bugged and when I try to print these files the printer permanently hangs. I have also had these printers start printing half way through the file. I want to love these printers but what the hell? Does anyone have any guidance on why these files may be doing this? I am using prusa slicer but I don't see why that would be relevant.

on the off chance that the printers actually read the file correctly the printer is awesome, but this sucks.

I got my 2s today, really happy with the yes file print, looking forward to dialing in the best settings and getting even better prints

Hi! Does PETG and ABS adhere to the neptune 2s metal table without any additional product or do I need to use something for adhesion?

Common, automatic bed leveling should be an industry standard by now. Are we still in 2010?

Pretty sure its a steel build plate. Aluminum is non-ferrous, and so would not be attracted to the magnetic sheet

I bought mine based on this review. I'm a noob and I can't get this thing to work at all. Not very noob friendly for sure

Prices ha e really shot up, it's now $300! So much for a cheap printer. Glad I got my OG Neptune 2 close to launch.

hey uncle jessy i bought 2 of these printers to add to my arsenal because of your review of this printer. Im loving the print quality so far! Im using 4.13.1 cura and i want to know what slicer you use? i really want to print the Thing hand but it says 17hrs not 11 hrs so i was curious to know what settings you used.

I just got a Neptune 2S myself. I am new to Fdm printing but an old hand at resin printing. I have been watching different videos about the subject and an going to print out a filament fan mod out of PETG. Do you have any advise about printing PETG on a Neptune 2s.

Hey Jessy, just snagged the 2s to work alongside my Prusa mini. I’m used to Prusaslicer and prefer it over cura. Have you sliced any files for the 2s in prusaslicer and if so, any recommendations for settings or profiles? Thanks a ton!

I just got this printer and finished assembling it about an hour ago. Is the Z-Axis supposed to move MUCH more slowly than the X-Axis and Y-Axis when homing the printer? If not, then I must have something wrong with my build.

Thanks for the review ! I bought a 2S on sale just before the Holidays, my first FDM printer. I've had really good luck with it. Only issue was with bed leveling, found the center of the plate had a small dip, fixed it with a post-it note under the plate. Amazing how well the PEI surface works, PLA+ sticks well when hot, loose when cold, have not needed to flex the plate at all. Curious if you have used PETG without any stick inhibitors on the textured side, or if it is necessary?

Have you swapped the nozzle on your 2S? If so, what size did you use for these prints?

I don't see the parts in the description and would love to upgrade can you please post them in a pinned comment?

Hey, love this printer, had it for about a week! I have an issue where even when my bed is 'level' in all corners, the center is a further distance. Any ideas on how to fix this?
