I can't seem to put an icon in the heading . I also cant qacces the edit menu. Is that purely for apple?
ОтветитьSuper Handy - Such a benefit to follow along as it really underpins the learning to how and why things work in Notion. Thanks for the deep dive
ОтветитьFollowed your tutorial, Notion has changed a lot so found it a bit difficult at times - but even at the end of it, I went back to ClickUp.
No fucking around, does everything I want.
Holy shit. I need that! I have quite heavy ADHS (im a hunter, NOT the best calculating and steady farmer). Even more do I need that system. Many thanks. For that kind of work I find it makes sence to go to work to earn money. Your work is worthwhile.
ОтветитьNotion seems like the linux version of task managers. Over-complicated but you can set it up how you want to use it.
Even with your guide, Notion is far too overwhelming, when I can use applications like Hello Ivy that give me everytihng I want with little to no setup.
Excellent functionality and instruction.
ОтветитьYou have so many videos and it's impossible to figure out where to start. I wanted to follow this series but it's unclear what to watch for the prerequisite.
ОтветитьLove the videos! I have been looking to figure this out but I have a question... how do you get the borders around the columns and sections?
ОтветитьI have noticed, your eyes are lighting, when you explaining new topic. This means you have a power to achieving a great things!
ОтветитьWhat mouse are you using in the video?
ОтветитьSimon - perfect. I've looked at nearly every Notion site out there - Marie, August to name probably the two heavy hitters - and this is without doubt very well executed. I don't think people fundamentally realise how hard it is to construct a learning plan that is at the base of it, simple and intuitive.
Would it be fair to assume that you have dispensed with apps like Apple Reminders, Apple Notes? If you have not, how do you wind these into your work flow? I've heard that one of the issues with Notion is working offline? If I have this wrong, then please tell me. Look forward to hearing from you.
I've been using Notion for 3 years now and have always been updating it little by little and watching your videos these last couple of days have been super inspiring. I'm taking the exact functions and features that I needed, so a BIG thank you to you.
I've just a question on the 'This Week (Analog)' and 'This Week (Do Date)'. Not entirely sure what the difference is and when yo use which. Do you think you could explain it a bit more in depth?
Again, thanks so much for your time and effort that goes on behind the scenes. Hoping to be able to support you financially one day as well :') Until then, I'll be working hard using your Notion skills to earn that money to support you haha :') <3
I waited all week to dedicate today to learning Notion and organizing my business specifically with this video
ОтветитьIn the videos in this Build series, you advise us to tell you in the Comments about additional features we'd like to see covered in this series. I'd like to hear your thoughts and hopeful recommendations for how to handle parent/child projects (or main and sub projects) and work those into the review dashboard. I face this situation often. For example: a parent-level project for Conference XYZ 2023 in which I am presenting several lectures. So I have tasks associated with that parent-level project (speaking contract, submitting promotional media materials, payment, etc.), but I need to set up sub-projects for each individual presentation. I want to somehow be able to in my Weekly Review monitor my progress status for that parent-level project, yet also do the same for each associated child project. Thanks.
ОтветитьThank-you so much. You probably just saved me a month of "Figuring Out" and you think like I do. I can't wait to start using this!
ОтветитьIs notion better than Todoist?
ОтветитьArgh! I thought I finally found a deep-dive practical tutorial, only to find that only parts 1 and 2 have been released, after two and a half months! Will we soon, or ever, see the next two? Soon? Please? :-)
ОтветитьTTTHHHHHHAAAAANNNNNNKKKK YOU
ОтветитьFantastic series. I'm learning how to use Notion and I'm glad I found your videos. Keep up the good work! All the best!
ОтветитьWhen we have the related goal show up in the projects dash board is there a way to include text (like the word GOAL: in front of it) using concat formulas or some other way?
ОтветитьMan, after using Notion for more than 1 year and trying to understand that related database thing, finally I got it! Thank you very much. Appreciate it a lot 🥳
ОтветитьGreat Video but I got lost at the end with all the relations. Not sure I understand the reasoning for the inbox etc. Watched several times but still don’t get these last steps. I did add the project relation which is nice. None of my covers show on the dashboard. Can’t figure out what setting I’m missing. Mine are just blank pages
ОтветитьMany thanks for your clear and easy to follow video. I've been following the steps as you have described and it's looking good. I Really enjoy building these Notion projects. Looking forward to some more.
ОтветитьWOW! System is Bomb)) Simon, thank you for your lessons
ОтветитьWow! Amazing video. It sounds quite complex but I think I get the point. I will try it, though. Thanks for sharing your Notion knowledge with us 😚🙏🏻
ОтветитьWOW! I Spent the last hours watching your channel and dipping my toe into notion! Thank you so much for your work: it was professionel and easy to understand at the same time (though I stopped and did rewind the video several times) I can't wait for the next video!
ОтветитьAmazing video! I've been following you and many other notion nerds for a long time and my system was becoming a mix and match which was great at first but quickly became to cluttered and messy and difficult to use. This has really helped me strip back to basics!
I was wondering though, how do you "process" a task that doesn't associate to a project as such, in my work & life I've got many weekly tasks that require doing, but don't related to a current running project, what would be your suggestion here?
Hi, the link to buy is not working. Can you please fix it? Thanks
ОтветитьHi Simon....i am new to Notion and watched lot of your past videos. Want to get started with "a complete notion" template. Recently you updated the simplified version template and i read in comments of that video that you will be updating the productive notion and complete notion templates soon. So my query is - should i wait for the new notion template to be released (complete version) and also, i want to start planing for 2023 rather setting any goal for 2022. So do you create a new dashboard each year and if yes, how do you roll forward the projects, tasks and habits to set the templates for the new year. Pardon if my questions sounds strange as i am just getting started with notion. Thanks.
ОтветитьThanks for starting this series! I'm still new to this and trying to learn it all is a bit difficult so having you run a full tutorial for it is very much appreciated!
ОтветитьI've said it before on your videos (and no doubt will say again) but awwww kitty... Possibly more important though (?) thanks for this, I love building along with you always makes things easier down the line when I know the mechanics of how it is created.
ОтветитьNice video as always. I have a question though: how do u get to use your Apple Pencil on notion? Mine doesn’t work on notion at all…maybe I’m doing something wrong?
ОтветитьI want to see how you connect your expenses to projects and tasks
ОтветитьBest Notion content online. Period. Good work Mate👍🏼
ОтветитьLoved this! I originally went with August Bradley's structure but found it was lacking the aesthetic part of it. I feel like combining parts of his structure and your look will help me complete my Notion workspace. I'm wondering how you designed this?
Ответить
