Sure, i rooted against Ali sometimes. I, like many, wanted to see somebody shut that big mouth..which Ken Norton did. But boxing without him? Boooring! In my corner, he's the greatest. Now, you Tyson fans chill. Totally different eras, styles, everything. Mike made his $ quick, fought dirty; Ali, and his opponents (remember Jerry Quarry? lol) gave us a show..and we didnt have to pay for it..

When you see fight films he doesn’t look physically intimidating, but he was. The fight films don’t show how hard he punched, but he stopped all the hardest men alive during his time.
If you want to understand Ali’s boxing prowess then read and listen to what all the tough guys who fought him said after the got in the ring with him.
Best quote I recently read was LARRY HOLMES, after sparring with Ali. Paraphrasing….I was marked up really bad, swollen up, and one of the trainers offered some assistance with ice packs etc. to lessen the swelling. Holmes refused first aid because the lumps and bumps were BRAGGING RIGHTS when he got back home. “I sparred with Ali!”.
