just bought it last month. loved it!

Far Harbor is what the base game should have been. That level of narrative choice and lore is leagues better than the base games bland and predictable story. I’m genuinely surprised Bethesda’s writers actually pulled this off. It’s quite literally the best work they’ve done in years.

Far Harbour is easily my favourite piece of DLC ever, hands down. The rich plot, characters and oh the music.

THE. MUSIC. INJECT IT INTO MY VEINS.

This single piece of DLC gives me hope for modern day gaming, I can't get over how much I love the people of Far Harbour and helping them through their struggles.

Moral ambiguity with fleshed out characters is what really sucks you into the world, they feel like real people. This and New Vegas are my gaming highlights.

As an Acadian of northern Maine I found this super cool as me and the fam would always go down to Bar Harbor for vacations during the summer when I was young. I’ve got it downloaded this whole time but haven’t played it yet. Think I’ll crack into it tonight :)

I hate fog or more specifically I hate not being able to see things.

I have played a little bit of this dlc, I got to the part where I do the stupid dima virtual reality mission.

Long story short, I got super bored of this DLC, I couldn't wait to go back to the main story map area of the game, hell I even found nuka cola DLC fun in comparison to the far harbor DLC.

Although I will admit the nuka cola DLC was kind of boring towards the end as it felt like there wasn't really much resolved, you know that moment when you're killed everybody and you're expecting more from the DLC but nothing ever really comes of it, yeah just like that it was boring.

However I am considering going back and playing far harbor again, maybe I'll give it another shot, I know there's a mod that will allow me to skip the stupid dima virtual reality quest, so I'll probably make use of that so that I don't have to have any stupid road blocks when I play the DLC, because I would rather just get on with the story and not go through bullshit like that dima quest.

I have yet to beat the mission that Nick was supposed to find the girl, yeah we found her, but it wasn't able to continue with her quest because the stupid virtual reality demo quest that I had no interest in playing.

Damn, based off of this footage I'd say your game is getting 15 FPS and some of these scenes within far harbor, either you had a very underpowered machine which is unbelievable for a channel such as this, or your game was very unoptimized.

I know I had to optimize that every living hell out of this game, I had to download a mod that would literally speed up the load screens, even if I was using an ssd, this game would load incredibly slow without that mod, then I had to get some mods that were meant to optimize gameplay so that I wasn't running the game at lower than 45 FPS in most areas.

But yeah, I feel sorry with how bogged down your system looks.

The best armor in the main game and dlc's is sold by Merchants in Far Harbor, with it and ballistic weave you won't need power armor, but you will need 10's of thousands of caps to buy it

Im juuuust itching into far harbor and am so unbelievably happy with Fallout 4’s effect on my life over the past 2 years let alone the past 10. This game truly keeps on giving.

It's 2022 and I still haven't played any of the dlcs

I'm almost finished with Far Harbor.. its and amazing map and story but my biggest flaw.. is the lack of terminals descriptions, location lore which is what I love most about FO.. unlike FO4 as an example... almost every location you go to has kind of a back story or lore surrounding it.. using terminals to read about it... Far Harbor has multiple locations that you can walk around and look at but thats about it.. ill be walking around looking for a terminal or note to learn about this location but most of the time there is nothing.. but other then that, great story and location l, just wish they made the main quest line a bit longer..

Far harbor is basically Fallout 4's great gameplay mechanics + great writing and storytelling.

Tbh the puzzles were good, but the way it implemented it in the settlement builder sucked

Far Harbor gives me serious H. P. Lovecraft vibes what with the setting and enemies.

And Acadia reminds me almost to the Letter of Jericho from Detroit: Become Human

We at home have a rule. We don't spend money on ingame purchases . No DLC for me😭

Far Harbor is incredible. The only problem is the fog that makes it very difficult to see, I get why it's there, but it makes you not able to appreciate all of the artwork and scenery. I also hate finding about homeboi's memories and the last puzzle to unlock this thoughts.

I don't think I've ever completed a DLC other than Automatron, usually I grab the guns, any armour I can and dip but I might complete far harbour because of the way they made the armour work

I like how Bethesda got a ton of good feedback for far harbor and then was like let's make 76

I feel like this is one of the best dlcs I've played but it just isn't stable, I have had multiple crashes during it that really damper my experience even without mods which sucks cause I know deep down this is it

The best explanation for the coding part of the dlc is when your sitting at the kitchen table crying as your dad is yelling about how they didn’t teach him math that way when he was in school.

The one storyline I was glad to have high charisma. Manipulating everyone to my will was too much fun. Chaos
