However I recently bought a Rust private server from Nitrado and I just cant seem to figure out how to connect to it since the server isnt showing up in server list in-game. please can you help me

hello i do not see an oxide folder on my nitrado server

i did everything right and i redid it multiple times and it won't work then i went to another video and another and both said u need to make sure "+rcon.web ture" it need to be true but i don't know where to find this an sence u have it working i thought maybe u forgot to add this into the video

He will need to update video. His dayz stuff is amazing so they proberly changed something. Followed everything including scrolling down dashboard for rcon password and still nothing. All this just to make my rust server private

I'm sorry sure but this guide is outdated and you lack a bunch of information that current modders need. I would delete this, its simply causing confusion and frustration.

i bought a server and its not even showing on rust can i get any help

it wont take my rcon password just keeps saying (Server verification failed. Could not connect to the server. Timeout.) even thought i put in right password ip and everything

literallt copied and pasted my servers ip and it says not puplic or whatever

can u do an updated video on this because they added the steam api key and also on dashboard you have to enter the rcon port at bottom i kept putting the query port and it wasnt connecting but this vid helped alot

Off topic but anyone here that uses nitrado know why my server wont show up on the public server list directory? I want my server to be public so anyone can join but for some reason it can only be found bu client.connect in console command (F1) menu or manually adding it on steam via clicking view>servers> and adding ot via ip address.. I want it to be so anyone can join without needing to do either of those 2 listed options??

when u cant connect Rcon to ur server, look on nitrado dashboard, scroll down and u can see "Rcon port : 15010" its not the same like the server port, make sure to have this one in rcon console and retry to connect

I also noticed you are not using the number that is on your Steam IP, at the end, for your port number (s)

The Rustadmin won't connect. The Rcon port has a different number then the one you pointed out. Are you sure the Rcon and Server ports have the same number? Either way... I have tried them both and multiple combinations... but it won't connect.
