LMAO im dead! 😂
Hello, I have a MacBook Air model A1466, and it has been experiencing the following issue. It runs normally at an average temperature of 65 to 70 degrees Celsius, both the CPU and GPU, but suddenly, after about 40 to 50 minutes of use, it shuts down and won't turn on again in any way. The only way I can get it to turn on is by disconnecting the battery and leaving it disconnected for at least 24 hours. If I disconnect the battery and reconnect it immediately, it also doesn't work. I've tried taking it to a few places, but here in Brazil, nobody seems to be able to fix it. I've watched your videos and studied the electrical diagram a bit, but I can't figure out what it might be. Another relevant detail is that before this problem occurred, I was using a charger with frayed and exposed wires, so there may have been a short circuit. Could you please provide some guidance? Any ideas on what kind of tests I could perform on the motherboard? So sorry to bother you, but your help is my last hope! 😬
ОтветитьSir I have macbook air 1466 , and it has issue before no power cpu fan also not working. Now one of the shop , they have repaired, but now processor over heating. Please help me what could be the issue? Note : currently no thermal paste on the heat sink.

Ответитьwhats better to work with, leaded solder or lead free solder?
ОтветитьIs this an allegory for New York real estate?
ОтветитьThis is my first logic board repair video and this blew my mind. So complicated but Louis makes it look so easy.
ОтветитьI'd like to see a before and after ultrasonic cleaning. Love your channel.
ОтветитьI'm almost expecting you to create another channel called ASMER ultra-sonic Cleaning channel.. and just has B role of circuit boards going into the ultra-sonic cleaner dirty and then coming clean lol
ОтветитьLouis and Flux, good to see the partners in crime back in action!
ОтветитьHave you ever successfully repaired a machine where the problem was not power supply related?
ОтветитьI've always had a sweet spot for PP3V42_G3H.
Ответитьhi louis, im tryna join your discord server but it is already expired. can you give me the update link?thanks
Ответитьbunch of balls underneath anything that make contact will stop anything from working
ОтветитьHow many buckets o' flux does Rossman's shop go through in a weak, though?
ОтветитьYour videos makes me laugh and happy.👍👍☺☺
ОтветитьThe magnet on the fan was a bit odd. I can't help but wonder since it booted OK with it on, if maybe it was somehow causing EMF to surge? Magnets can alter electrical current flow, and stray magnets should usually be kept away from sensitive electronics.
ОтветитьWas locked out of my Apple account this morning, believe it or not Apple actually fixed it in half an hour for me. (Something was turned off in the settings on their end)
ОтветитьAnother usefull Video, that is not going viral. You need a Photoshoped picture of Mr Clinton fixing Board to always use as a sumbnail.
ОтветитьI did learn something, thank you
ОтветитьLouis, thanks so much for being honest and speaking your mind on things that matter. Your videos are always entertaining on one level or the other, and it always feels like I learned something, regardless of if I can make use of it later. Best wishes for you, Erica, your cats, your coworkers, your friends, and your audience.
ОтветитьI know absolutely nothing about fixing electronics, however I do know a lot about the repair business and the construction business. I like the way you did your job you did it step by step by process of elimination and you found the problem. Then you fixed the problem and I noticed you made sure that there was no subsequent problems that could show up down the road. That in my book is called integrity. I'm glad to see a person in your field that takes pride in their work and does a thorough and honest job. I bet your business is doing very well, I bet you do quality work at a fair price. Being a fair and honest business person no matter what business you have will create a business with longevity and profitability
Ответитьwonder what the cat is up to
ОтветитьHey Louis, Is there a video of fan replacement?? that would be interesting.
ОтветитьComputer is trolling you at the beginning. I know one time that i kept on taking my computer up to Best Buy to get it looked at but the problem didn’t happen. I had to take it up there 5 times before it happen it was so simple they fixed it didn’t even charge me anything can’t remember what was the issue. I know i was to young and hadn’t came interested in computers yet. It was a hp desktop
Ответитьpeepee
ОтветитьI LITERALLY HAVE THIS PROBLEM RN WITH THIS EXACT MAC, LOUIS CAN YOU MIND READ
ОтветитьWhy was there a magnet on the fan?
ОтветитьA reason the crud will cause the problem is that the feedback circuit is high impedance 548k is up there. More a vacuum tube circuit value. My guess was that they did not want the feedback circuit need a lot of current to function . Nice video.
ОтветитьStop calling it flux and use "Nectar of the gods"!
Ответитьthis video started with too much happy energy , this Louis is an imposter!
ОтветитьLouis... Good to see you on the Tech Bench!
ОтветитьI don't know why i love watching these kinds of videos.
ОтветитьOHHHH, some juicy content. Just the right amount of...
ОтветитьHey Louis I’m a relatively new subscriber. Just a few months of watch. Love the content. I would appreciate a video if you haven’t already about your educational/career background with whatever information you feel comfortable sharing with everyone. Would love to know! Thanks for what you do.
ОтветитьGood old days again with logic boards☺️
ОтветитьI didn't know dogshit had a sound
Ответитьlearned today that there is ultrasonic cleaning for motherboards.
Goldsmith / Master Jeweler here can't use a soldering gun. use torch, laser solder but darn soldering iron is my nemesis. must learn to solder like Bossman Louis Rossmann
I keep hearing you mention Ultrasonic cleaner but I don’t know what that is or how it cleans everything. I’ll have to google it is suppose.
ОтветитьDo you have any advice about the spinning beach ball….TIA
ОтветитьI wonder how many times Louis said PP3V42_G3Hot in his professional career...
ОтветитьFeedback high is usually a very forgiving problem. If the feedback gets pulled low, then the output rises over what it shoule be. But apple thinks different and puts an fuse in form of an resistor and diode in front of that because real fuses never blow.
ОтветитьAwesome. Thank you. I really need to find a way to put aside more time to study the various lines and rails, S-stage hieracy etc.
