Just got the 12600kf for 140 usd. 🤤
ОтветитьSomething to mention is the the 7600x is $245 before tax. While the 12600kf (no integrated graphics) is $195. To be fair the 7600x is new and 2024 8000 series will release making the 7000 series cheaper. But we also still have lga 1700 going strong for intel which is interesting. Personally i am a bit more towards intel at the moment because you can get something similar in gaming performance for $50 less and on ddr4 if thats your memory of choice. Both are awesome and the 7600 and 7600x should drop in price soon. Hopefully...
Ответитьi9 12700k JAJAJAJA XDDDD
ОтветитьI9 12700k
ОтветитьI’m deciding between the I5 12600 and Ryzen 5 7600 CPU for my first PC build. Looking at a RX6700 GPU. Intel is currently 30% cheaper but It seems like both will run 2k games at good FPS.
Is it fair to assume the Ryzen 5 7600 is more future proof due to the new technology and newer motherboard required. I’m starting from scratch so I’ll need to buy a new motherboard anyway. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Well the 7600x is 230 right now and 12600k is 180
ОтветитьHad to go with the 5600x cause didn’t wanna buy a better cooler and psu 😂
Ответитьintel 13th enter the chat
ОтветитьMe with a 5600x on 1440p and 4k gaming on a 3070.
Normally I wouldn't need to upgrade to a 7600x. As my monitor is the LG C1 4k oled tv.
And on some games like Hell Let Loose I do play at a 1440p as my gpu cant play it at 4k.
Amd majority of games I play can do 4K with a 3070 with some settings tweaks.
But looking at the prices right now.
7600x and ddr5 plus a b-motherboards for am5 are looking cheap. They are about the same baseline msrp as the 5600x's release day prices.
Apart from the am5 high end mobo they are still expensive af.
But yeah for upgrading sake. I am tempted.
I need to stop watching pc parts videos lmaooo or my wallet suffers.
oh my god the production value here. Your face is perfectly lit! The background, lights, colors and stills as well. 10/10
ОтветитьLove my 5600x!
ОтветитьFor me the 12600k is the best budget CPU by far!!!
Ответить3600 here. Wake me up when 9600 releases
ОтветитьNo reason to upgrade CPU+MB even if you have AMD ryzen 5 3600x
ОтветитьDepends on what you can find the 7600x for. A cheap b650 board paired with the 7600x wull cost around 800-1000$ in some places
ОтветитьWhich CPU gonna make me pay less electricity bills I5 12600k or 5600x ?
ОтветитьTesting mid range CPU with mid range GPU would be helpful , like rtx3060 , 3070 and rx6600, 6650 xt or rx6700xt .
If I was buying mid range CPU 7600x I will not be buying top end GPU like rtx3090ti for $2000.00 , I will stick to more budget rx6650xt $250.00 .
Not sure why you techtubers never realizes this.
Will a 7600x bottleneck a 7900xt at 1080p? if yes what gpu would you recommend
ОтветитьThumbs up for the case commercial
ОтветитьSeems like if you are gaming in 1440p, just buy the cheapest cpu/mobo combo. If you are gaming in 1080p, buy the Ryzen architecture.
Ответить2 week since i jump from Ryzen 7 3700X to Ryzen 5 7600X with same old Rtx 2060s. I'm using 6000mhz ddr5 32gb kit. And with same old gpu RTX 2060s i got 19fps more on average mw2 gameplay and benchmarks. Only ram and cpu upgrade gives more fps with same graphics card is first time i see. I will get soon RTX 4080.
ОтветитьAMD may have the cheapest the cpu, but a higher price average motherboard. Intel on the other hand, has a lower entry price (CPU + Motherboard) for whichever i3, i5, i7, i9 etc. Intel can have both PCI-E 5.0 and DDR4 for cost effectiveness and perhaps a better future support for peripherals. So who wins?
ОтветитьI'm most excited for the i5 13400f
ОтветитьYeah for me TDP above 70 is a deal breaker. My 5600X is awesome.
ОтветитьOk. I've seen a lot of these tests. One question remains: Who is pairing a $1500 GPU with a $150-$300 CPU?
ОтветитьI am still using my i5 4460 with gtx 950.
Cant decide between AM4 Ryzen 7 and the AM5 Ryzen 5. Please enlighten me bros!!
Waiting for the xd variants before i update from a 8700k
ОтветитьOne month later:
ОтветитьI think it’s still worth the cost of switching to a new platform and new ddr5 ram given you’re future proofing yourself for several years to come on the platform you’re upgrading to. If am5 is anything like am4, you’ll be able to upgrade to a new amd processor 5-6 years down the road using the same motherboard and ram config. With intel, your going to be on an end of life platform either immediately after upgrading or the very next year.
ОтветитьHow did that domination go????
ОтветитьLowest price in my country is 438 euros. I am not sure that anyone will go for that cpu when it mostly dominates in gaming. And its 6c/12t
ОтветитьAMD is dead again, only fan boys and very select users will get the 7000 series CPUs. Suck because now I imagine intel will back off again until AMD catches back up. :(
Ответить12600k has similar performance for a way less price, when also considering the motherboard costs.
"AMDoMiNaTiOn" lmaooo
'amd domination' same performance as previous Gen Intel at almost double the cost 😂
ОтветитьConsidering the price difference it doesnt feel like you should upgrade from a 5600x.
ОтветитьUpgrade is what I need I'm run 2600 with 1060... as of right now I just got 3060 the only thing is should I go with 5600/5600x or wait for 7600x
ОтветитьJust bought a 5600x at $250 CAD, but in hindsight a plain 5600 has basically the same performance and is now only $190 CAD. For what i do its plenty and definitely not worth buying everything, including an expensive cooler, from scratch again. Wont be surprised if AMD drops another AM4 chip down the line as well.
ОтветитьThe ryzen 5 5600 is basically the same as the 5600x right?
ОтветитьUndervolt the 7600X. Set the PBO2 in Advanced CPU Setting in the BIOS to all cores, negative, and 30(mv), then set the PPT to around 65-75w. The temps will go way down as will the power draw, but the boost speeds should stay about the same. If it does not quite boost as high then up the wattage a bit (5w steps) until you get the boost to heat ratio you want. You could likely run a stock AMD Wraith Cooler. If you leave the wattage at the full 105w you will likely see a 100-200Mhz increase on boost speeds... and still slightly better temps and watts (3-5 off each). This is a MUST with the new AMD 7000 series. The 7950 can only handle -15mv typically but will match normal boost levels capped at 180w and run much cooler.
ОтветитьI'm also thinking of buying a 5600x to replace my i5 6600k I have a 6700xt I'm thinking of buying a 12400f but the motherboards are too expensive an x570 costs 100$ from me than a z690
ОтветитьI've been using the iGPU in the AMD 7950X to play F1 Manager 22. In the track map view it's in the 60fps area. Any other view is a slide show, down in the 15-20s. Even Portal 1 plays at 30fps maxed settings (except motion blur, because that's stupid.) This is on the Alienware QD-OLED. (Yes, that's a stupid config, I'm waiting for the 4090.) But saying it can't game, is not entirely true.
Ответитьsomething is wrong with this review
other reviewers doesnt show this silly flat graph lmfao
most of the times its ahead of 12600k
lol
Rocket lake? What?
ОтветитьI think all new CPUs are in huge trouble. AMD and Intel need to convince all gamers to play at 1080p and above 200fps, otherwise their new cpus are useless.
Truth is most gamers still play on 60 fps monitors, as show in steam survey.
All the while, gpu makers are trying to convince people to play at 4k. While even top GPUs still struggle to make 4k60fps.
"i9-12700k" on the graphs
