I've recently read up on the Ethereals because on their upcoming relevancy and they are surprisingly diverse.

Their ruling class used to be the Ethereum, led by Nexus-King Salhadaar and his court of Nexus-Princes. But after the destruction of K'aresh and the self-destructive path of vengeance that the Ethereum went on, several of the Nexus-Princes splintered off and formed their own Sub-Factions.

The most well known is the Consorteum, a network of traders led under Nexus-Prince Haramad. It is them who give the Ethereals the image of traders and smugglers.

Another friendly group we meet is called the Protectorate, a paramilitary group that swore to hunt down the former Nexus-King for his corruption. They are ABSOLUTELY NOT ABOUT TRADE in any way and all have modern military-titles. Their Nexus-Prince is not known, we only met with the local commander of Outland.

There are more Nexus-Princes that are hostile to us and mostly plunder the cosmos of whatever is valuable.

Never heard of the blackwater being painted good by them stealing only from the rich they are just smarter than the bloodsail and let the people they rob go so they can rob them again another time giving them a much better reputation because they most likely wont murder you so they can make more money off you Bloodsail just murder like 99% of the people
