According to this video, the ban was an extremely weird application of justice.
There is enough evidence suggesting he could have not been cheating, and as we should presume innocence, this is largely enough evidence.
Secondly, reasons for bans (accusations) should be disclosed, or able to be disclosed with consent of the accused. Imagine a justice system where you don't know what you're being accused of (it in fact happened to me, and it is anything but just) and neither does the jury, or the people.

I know minecraft isn't our irl legal system, but we should all take inspiration from its basic principles (even the justice system should uphold those principle better irl) or at least, we should have a system based on justice, not only fairness.
