I can't believe what Lucas Oil Stabilizer did for My Engine!

What have you experienced using Lucas?

ive used lucas since i started driving 27 years ago and never had an issue my current truck has over 500k running lucas in it right now. half a quart every change even slowed oil consumption down.

As a general rule, you never add any additives to the engine oil or the gas tank. Only add a fuel injector cleaner to a full gas tank after each oil change.

No you can't destroy a nissan engine hahaha 😂 they ran one up to 4 million rpm before it exploded.

There needs to be enough oil for the oil pump pickup to suck oil through the block. 2 quarts won’t cut it, you basically ran the motor dry.

For smaller engines you need less oil treatment, also would not recommend putting alot, if your engine takes 0w20 or thin velocity oils it has small passage ways and lifters that have to pump up, for 4 cylinder engines I like STP oil treatment, Lucas especially for older diesels is a must they run smoother and stop oil burning 👍

You don't need much I use high mileage Lucas I count to 10 squeeze it in oil fill ,when using this product with 4 qts of Valvoline max life . Never had a issue since 2014 till now 2001 ranger 236,000

I use Royal Purple 5W30 suppose to only use what manufacturers say for a reason. 5W when col start thin enough to lubricate and 30 when hot lubrication maintains. Anything else too thick to lubricate completely.

It said on the bottle to substitute one out of 5 quarts of oil with the Lucas. I never read anything about adding in several quarts of Lucas.

I need to put that stuff in my 77 Monte Carlo’s worn out engine to see if it helps. It’s got 140,000 miles . I think it needs a rebuild.

None of those products fix anything. They can make it quieter, but the damage is done time for new engine when they knock that bad.

My families race shop has been using pure synthetic for decades in our race engines and own engines .the main reason we use it is at the highest point of wear startup if you touched the oil it's thick and kind of tacky that tackyness is what helps engines on startup most oil after a few hours after shutoff drains back to the pan .the Lucas leaves a film on engine parts thus protecting those parts during the crucial few seconds the engine builds pressure .

Well if you put gear oil in a motor that requires 5w20 your probably not going to have good results.

I guess you used heavy duty(semi truck) oil stabiler and you used for car

You cant stop a rod knock with lucas. Lucas is nothing more than a stabilizer. A rod knock occurs when a connecting rod snaps and rattles up and down in the valve.....how is lucas supposed to reattach a broken rod? 😂 It will only drown the sound. It wont fix a thing 😂. Now the lifter tick you have it will definitely help with. But not a rod knock 😂

Hi Nate. I just want u to know that u r a likeable person and have a great channel. U have gradually gown on me. Im sure u may know but if not, here is something is recently discovered... (Ive been an auto tech most of my life and I'm a definite mad-scientist, oil-nerd).... Ceratec has in the range of 4600 ppm Moly (modtc I would guess.. Not m0s2), 2400 boron (supposably nitride but the msds says oxide... But I think nitride is synthesized from boron tri-oxide), 800-ish zddp, calcium 1665...so divided out over 5 gallons of oil it's a pretty robust anti fricrion/wear additive pack. I know we don't want too much calcium to compete w anti-wears, but I think the anti-wears would out balance that and b OK. Plus the calcium would raise the base number some. Anyhow, I just thought u would like this info if u didn't have it. Thanks again for everything! Keep up the great content! LANCE

I use Lucas injector cleaner all the time in my diesel truck better accelerates and mileage. I only have 60k miles on my truck and it’s a Cummins. At about what interval would you use this on a high mileage truck? 100k and up? Do you mix it with rotella or valvoline?

I had an old work truck that had a spun rod bearing. And would knock like crazy on startups until the engine got warmed up. 1 quart of lucas oil, and that engine was completly quiet. drove that truck for another 50000 mileswith no issues or knocks

Lets grab a brain here. You know your oil sump can only suck such thick oil. So if you put molasses in it, it would lubricate it the same as its so thick. Being its not lubricated at all. So putting 7 courts of the concentrated oil stabablizer in it is just as thick if not thicker so of course you had this problem. Even if you put 1 quart of regular oil you "maybe would have got away with it. But stabalizer is not a lube. Its a stabalizer for oil so it stays thicker linger for people who dont like to change their oil ever 5k.

Just used locus oil stop leak today in Kia optima 2015, it eats less than a quart every month city driving, gave it a try.. the crazy part is I use the decibel metre today the noise level inside my car cabin and it went from average 42 to 48 down to 35 to 39 which is crazy and the vibration oh my god is gone I can idle in the traffic light without any vibration it's crazy! I can't say much about oil consumption yet I just did it today

I guarantee if you had just plain engine oil and pulled the plug, that engine would have locked up almost immediately. lucas works.
