Only thing I might have done differently is pull the carpets before cleaning. I know it's difficult, especially in a German car, but I think it would have been worth it in the long run. So many nooks and crannies to get the extractor into. It probably would've taken the same amount of time to: pull them, 1 vacuum, 1 powerwash and 1 extraction. But pulling them would have gotten them (and the floor) cleaner.

I just Found your video. I have an Honda S2000. my rear glass window unglued from the top and it full of mold now. it sat a few months was a car cover on. the interior of the S2000 is just like this. what cleaners do you use?

To be on the safe side, I'd do one more mold remediation myself. Not that I don't trust you guys, but for the sake of redundancy. Because I've already abused my lungs enough and I drive my "weekend cars" every other day when it's warm. So I need the cleanest air possible.
I actually don't have a weekend vehicle right now. But I'm looking to remedy that.😁

Next time encapsulate the mold in your cleaning solution, then wipe off and discard the towels. Using the vornado or vacuum is dispersing the spores into your shop.

Mold spores are very resistant to being lysed. You should offer cars that have been thoroughly cleaned and then tested for presence of spores on the surfaces you have decontaminated for prospective buyers.

Do you think breathing in mold spores is a good idea?
