ОтветитьGreat video. Question: What would a zero-g fire be like on the ISS? How would the fire behave and how would the astronauts put it out?
ОтветитьAs you mentioned not all such events would be pointed directly at earth, but it does make me wonder how big of a cone solar flares make? Does the area vary by intensity? And what’s let’s say that we can’t a solar flare near the edge as opposed to directly aimed at us, how much does the intensity drop off the further you get from the center?
Ответитьgood
ОтветитьIf the cost is ok, a refueling-station with several huuge fuel-tanksshould be parked in the Larange-point. Future spaceships would have a docking and go to the fuel-station, fill up and then go to their scientific positions. Like cars do on earth. Br
ОтветитьThe universe is a torus...
That early MW lookalike may be us!
🤔
But, how many grams is a trillion solor masses?
ОтветитьYes when will we see a image of webb from hubble? That would be really cool
ОтветитьMy theory for what's going on with the cosmic rays, is that somewhere somebody likes stacking a particle, on a grain of sand, on a golf ball, on a tennis ball, on a bowling ball, on a really big ball, on a moon, on a planet...
And then they bounce them.
I just want to point out that dark matter is not a universally accepted fact, it's theoretical and part of the Lambda CDM model of the universe that these scientists used in their analysis. You seem to phrase it as a fact, which mirrors the phrasing in the summary of the paper you linked so I appreciate that the language didn't originate with you, but in the actual underlying paper they did not and made clear that the calculations were being done under the model. Also, recent observations from JWST seem to be inconsistent with that model, and are more consistent with a MOND model see "Accelerated Structure Formation: The Early Emergence of Massive Galaxies and Clusters of Galaxies" by McGaugh et al. published Nov. 12, 2024 in The Astrophysical Journal. I know there is at least one paper trying to explain away that recent JWST data by proposing that early galaxies had hyper accelerated star formation (with speculative ideas for why that might occur), Xiao et al., that you covered in a prior video, but this is very much an open issue and not settled.
ОтветитьHey Fraser, big fan, love your work. Thr other day you had a video thumbnail and it was you as Doc Brown from BTTF, that was so funny. I'm sad it went away.
ОтветитьMaybe the ESA could go in on a service mission to L2 with the US for JWST
ОтветитьFantastic content. Thank you Fraser.
ОтветитьWTH??? Another billion dollar NASA faux pas [screwup]. Autonomous vehicles on Earth require multiple sensors for redundancy. NASA - eh, lets divert the $ to DEI programs so ppl can feel good about the crash. WTH!!!
ОтветитьGaia and JWST are both at the Sun moon L2 point. How come we dont worry about them colliding with eachother?
Ответить👽👽👽HAHAHA! Like yesterday's video along w my comment on Anton Petrov's channel, this 'Black Hole'[sic] observation also supports the EU hypothesis. There is so much wrong w the BB hypothesis that even MSS is backing off. The 'bizarre' strand corona and jets [they are Birkeland currents/filaments] of the BHs and the super hot corona of the Sun are natural features of the EU model and so are NOT unexplained. Mapping the magnetic fields [whose source is actually electric ;-)p ] in the Uni has begun and so far it has baffled MSS but only confirms the EU model. Thanks!!! MSS just fails to learn proper physics. So the blind are leading the blind. Hey, don't sh00t the messenger.
Here are a few samples of this failure:
Black holes DO NOT exist and are but plasmoids which then reinforces the Electric Universe hypothesis. Birkeland currents/plasma-strands/jets in EU, on the other hand, explain the associated phenomena easily.
Existence of BH's is falsified [proven false] by video: Wal Thornhill: On the Black Hole's Non-existence | Space News -
Clearly Black Holes can't exist even by the principles put forth by lamestream science. They contradict themselves. See video: Stephen Crothers: The Parallax Effect on Short Hair | EU2014

Can Stars BEND LIGHT? Hell NO! Not even it's powerful magnetic field can bend light...as some ppl erroneously believe. See video Can Stars BEND LIGHT? General Relativity and Gravity with Dr. Edward Dowdye!
Video regarding general relativity put in question by Dr. Ed Dowdye: Solar Gravitation and Solar Plasma Wave Propagation Interaction, Einstein rings and gravitational effect on atomic clocks
Edward Dowdye Jr - The Failed Attempts to Detect Macro Lensing E U Conference 2012' --- [ atoms modeled as electric charges] Eddington's light deflection observation was only due to diffraction through the solar limb outside of which no bending occurred but should have, according to Onerock!
See Dr. Robitaille's latest Sun model [Video: Solid Bodies and Mercury: The Perihelion Precession Explained! ] which now posits a solid core/surface of planar metallic hydrogen. This may then account for the precession of Mercury, nullifying Onerock's theories. My derivative corollary is that the upwelling of the intercalate layers can cause mass ejecta which then form planets and other objects.

Einstein/Onerock has been disproved many other ways which then destroys the underlying claims of the BigBong theory, among other things.

I offer up these resources to ppl:
Plasma Cosmology [Electric Universe theory] predicts and describes the Uni more completely and eloquently. See the Thunderbolts Project channel. Also 'See The Pattern', 'Unzicker's Real Physics', Ray Flemming's channel and Prof. Pierre-Marie Robitaille's 'Sky Scholar' channels... to start. As a consequence you too will find the current sciences distasteful. Naturally I don't recommend the 'conventional' physics sources as they are on the wrong path.
Sciences have come to be about preserving the status quo because of $, jobs, egos, and now reputations. A great number of professionals left their fields disillusioned and now talk about the failure of the science and the system. At the top, the elite don't want their minions running around the universe...free. They want to play god.

He’s correct BUT his papers have not been accepted because there are too many reputations and too much funding for the Big Bang research Gang on the line.]

Me, I'm only a triple engineer rewriting the electromagnetic theory which, as you know, touches everything else. I call it the Parallax Electric Theory [PET] which dispenses with the anachronistic notion of magnetism. Everything is but charges [electric fields].

PS. From where I stand, the Uni is flat[i.e. infinite], static[i.e. not expanding], eternal[albeit finite lifespan at present] and 'c' is just a number [do you know what that means?][hint, add it all up]. [It means that 'c' is not the maximal speed in the Uni... because Onerock is dead )) ]
Dear Fraser,
I recently had a conversation with ChatGPT about the feasibility of surviving on Titan with minimal protection. Initially, it mentioned that without proper gear, one would quickly die from asphyxiation. When I suggested using an oxygen bottle, it raised the issue of the extreme cold, which could be fatal within minutes. I then asked about wearing cold-weather gear similar to what is used in Antarctica, plus some extra layers. ChatGPT pointed out that I would still be at risk of poisoning from hydrocarbons in the atmosphere. Finally, I proposed using a positive pressure breathing apparatus, and ChatGPT concluded that with such equipment, it might be possible to survive for a couple of hours on Titan’s surface.
I found that incredible!
Is it really feasible to survive for a few hours outside on Titan with just Antarctic gear and a sealed oxygen mask? Don’t forget I mentioned the extra layers!
Thank you for this channel!
FUNNY SHIET

I'm II'm Gaia and personallyn I think its a good idea to come get me....thanks
ОтветитьFor good things, like Gaia, maybe in a decade or two, more sophisticated "space debris" removers (or people in visiting space craft) will grab it and return it to some museum on Earth or the Moon. Actually we really need a space junk depot station as a space-based storage and recycle point instead of allowing all the highly refined material in orbit (that cost so much to get up there) go to waste by burning up in the atmosphere or, worst, getting fragmented further in orbit.
ОтветитьI have questions... Mainly, how did Fraser know firefly sparkle is a my little pony character?!
ОтветитьDark matter is nothing but a theory. It cant be observed and therefore it cant be measured. The maths on which dark matter is based on fail miserably at predicting other things.
I cant understand the effort there….
Gaia has sure helped with plate solving
ОтветитьIngenuity Crashed, for the same reason, as many of us have, on those long boring interstates.
ОтветитьWhat about space elevators ? it is just an impossible idea, or it is realy feasible ?
ОтветитьStarship landing vertically on the moon seems like madness.
ОтветитьFraser, when it comes to looking back to find evidence of the big bang, how do they know which direction to look? It seems that would make a big difference.... and it also seems there would have to be lots of room for error.
ОтветитьGAIA Nooooo! indeed. No stunning pics, but still one of my favourite space telescopes ever.
ОтветитьI remember when the first big batch of GAIA data was released to the public many astrophysicists had Gaia overnight parties to try and find something. The Gaia mission produced an astonishing Hertzsprung-Russell diagram
ОтветитьWhat would happen if Aposis strongly hits the moon? Would it break the moon facing appearance with Earth and/or the ebb flow of out tides?
ОтветитьGEEZ, we wonder? Meanwhile back on earth we have real problems that appear unsolvable. But thank God for continuous messages by gaia from nowhere, it keeps all the space geeks happy even though NASA's filters make them all lies....
ОтветитьHow about NJ drones? Its what everyone is talking about
ОтветитьPeccato che non abbia parlato die buchi neri, di Andromeda, della teoria della relatività, e delle cellule umane.
ОтветитьThere was too much ingenuity in the Gaia mission.
ОтветитьFraser, when are you going to tell your audience that starship is a complete failure? I think you already know this, Elon is another theranos. I really hope you already know this and are just not talking about it because of fear of losing a large part of your audience, but it's your job to talk about this. On the other hand, if you believe in Elon and starship, then I'm afraid you're not knowledgeable as you seem. Go watch some thunderfoot videos.
Ответить❓Hey Fraser, we know a lot about flares from m dwarf and sun-like stars, but what about the most massive stars? Are there any studies that you know of?
ОтветитьHi Fraser, in some recent questions that were asked, you talked about supermassive black hole mergers, but didn't mention the 'final parsec problem'. Is it not a 'problem' anymore? Please expand. Thank You.
ОтветитьNeed L2 service?
Call Musk!
I think there is a lot of research and writing papers# still to come from all that Gaia data… once the final version is published …
ОтветитьDamn. Here I was hoping that it was the Gaia conspiracy theory media platform that was reaching its end.
ОтветитьHah. Bunch of bull. We all know what happened here! Unlike Americans, Martians take no crap from anyone flying weird drones around their homes, period.
ОтветитьHey Fraser...We know that the Earth's magnetic field flips every few hundred thousand years or so, but do we know how long this process takes and also if during this process, whether nasty cosmic rays actually make it to the surface should the magnetic field be in a temporary mess? In other words, should we run and hide underground when this happens and for how long if so? Cheers.
ОтветитьMaybe nasa dei hires didnt turn the laser range finder on like what happened on that moon landing that broke off a leg.
ОтветитьI don't know Fraser, what are the My Little Pony characters? I'm not up to date on the lineup lol 😅
ОтветитьVery good show! Thank you!
ОтветитьA Milky Way man sits in a Milky Way house. Is the house made of flesh, or is he made of house? He screams, for he does not know.
ОтветитьHello there! I work at the ESA control center as part of the Gaia flight control team. My role in the disposal won‘t be that relevant, however I will reconfigure parts of the Ground Control System for the disposal - giving me the power to change the Command Descriptions and Mnemonic of reports coming from the spacecraft. The final passivation sequence will end with two last reports being sent from the spacecraft before it stays silent forever.
What shall the two final messages from Gaia be? (Character limit per message is 64 chars)
I agree that the interviews need to be with the people in the middle of the research and hard work of finding the truth of the universe. Thank you for that.
