Wow wow wow, in reality in my practice, easily 50 % of them are bruxir. Theses preparation will not work . I have one of the best cement, but still need to prep to gain the most mechanical retention you can get yet at the same time the most conservative approach you can do to your patients.

My question is not related to the prep and restoration. I wanted to know that did you record all the video using a video camera installed on a microscope or you used some head mounted video camera system because the camera was following the head movement. Is it Futudent?

Why would you do this if you still can do a normal onlay or overlay, you just dameged more tooth structure and has zero mechanical retention, plus it's more complicated approach for no reason

This is a very strange way to make the inlay or only, I don't know what you call this. This restoration will not stay long, it has 0 retentions.

Clean work but disagree with the approach. You have no mechanical retention (notches or groves) in your preparation and rely 100% on the adhesive to keep that restoration in place. A full coverage porcelain crown would have been the better option in my opinion because you wouldn't have to worry about it popping off when the patient flosses.

Nice job. I just have two questions. The fist one, what was the point in making occlusal depth cuts if it was followed by a caries removal. And the second one, don't you think it would have been easier to use a light cured resin cement insted of the heated paste composite for both the cementation and the exsess removal. thanks

H3PO4 can’t be used on ceramic crown/overlay. You weak your adhesive retention adding phosphate “groups” on emax . That’s why Ivoclean is on the market

Have you tried a dental crown?

For god sake. Why not extend margins slightly and give urself a ferrule to increase retention and resistance

Only bond on the crown, and prime and bond on the tooth, no curing till the end right?
Was it wetting resin used with the ribbond, or just bond? And above u used normal composite material?
