According to my SEO experience Google always rank a content rich Page in Google but if I have less content on my home page, then how can I rank my page. I am just starting to write my articles for my site. I am starting a review guide site. I have noticed that a lot of sites like Amazon, Target, Nordstrom are ranking among the review sites with little to no backlinks mostly no backlinks. If i have good content and get a backlink or two will I be able to rank higher than them. I have also noticed that many of the other review site have high DR but no backlinks and I can create better content than them can i outrank them with little to no DR if i create better content and get a backlink or two for my articles. I am finding that many for the keywords i have choose have no backlinks but high DR. I would love to get to top 5. Will this be hard when starting out. thanks

The only problem I have found with Ahrefs is the KD metrics. It doesn't give you proper information. For example, if a KD on Ahrefs shows 5 which should be considered easy to rank is not actually easy after checking the KD using other tools the same keyword shows KD on the higher side. For comparison, I have used MOZ, Ubbersuggest and Google Ads KW tool.

The 0.78% of 2nd Page clickers this is in context with all the searches (including terms which has less than 100 searches per month) in the world. If you rank on the first page for the keyword which has +10k searches per month, you 'll still get some decent traffic (also it is subjective to niches and keyword intent)

Thanks for the video - super useful as usual! Quick question. I have a pet blog. I have a page on black dog breeds which branches out to different pages for different breeds of black dog.
Using Ahref I notice I have 1 or 2 keyword rankings for each of those pages including the main page. Would a better seo approach be to combine all the pages into one? Having one strong page versus multiple related weaker pages.
