Redragon K552 - Still Any Good 2023???

both rainbow and rgb come with red, blue, and brown switches, probably missed something

anyones space key sound a bit springy when pressed a certain way?

Can anyone suggest me a good keyboard around 4k Rs (Around 40-45 $) ?
I want arrow keys( So, No 60%), At least detachable type c or wireless

I know saying the name of the product is redundant, but calling them both "this one" over and over again starts to get really confusing when I have to look away from the video for even a second

From watching your video on modding the the K552, I picked up a white one for my daughter. Swapped the key caps for some inexpensive milk and honey caps. Only problem was it came with blue clicky switches, so I switched them for the Akko switches like what you had and the keyboard sounds so good now! Thanks for doing all these vids on a budget widely available keyboard.

I had the white version with blues super loud but it was great

tbh with the new tecware phantom + or + elite the k552 is obsolete

Bought it its rlly good , amazing built quality , in my opinion dont get red switches , the red switches version comes with fixed colours , get the blue for full RGB customisations , there are many modes on the blue and if u dont like the switches just buy the red switches , its amazing and will recommen, the cable is long , not braided but it has Rlly strong Rubber and is long , enough to route around a table

I bought this keyboard year 2018, and i'm still using it up to this day, I bought it thinking it will only last me for a year or two, but It's been doing great for 5 years. Those 5 years are heavy use of keyboard almost everyday specially wasd keys, but no issues so far. I 100% recommend this keyboard, the durability of mine is insane.

I bought one from a store that sells "blow out" items and got one for $10. No joke. I think I'm going to get a couple more because of the price.

The RGB options on this keyboard are awful. It lacks direct hardware control options. Instead of sensible RGB control, it offers hideous gimmicky patterns and only a rainbow look. Software should not be required to get solid colors and sensible patterns.
Also, the new version with the key layout shown in this video is NOT compatible with OpenRGB.

Ive had the keyboard for a while just modded it with akko radient reds and it sounds super nice but I need to either lube or replace the stabilizers but stock unlubed akko radient red sounds nice

I love my k552, what bargain it was!

I still think its the best keyboard for the price. Especially if you get the full rgb.

The one thing missed in the video is discussion of programmability of keys via firmware--such that one can move the keyboard from PC to PC without having to install any software on the host PC (e.g., VIA/QMK)

this keyboard isn't good at all, some of the keys don't function at all after 3 months or so.

I bought the K552 today in white with the rainbow as I couldn't get a single colour UK version. Is there anyway to set every key to blue for instance, so that I can then add keys for games. WASD for example or am I stuck with either rainbow or unlit with the standard variation?

so i kinda wanna change just the kep caps (i think thats what they are called idk im new to pc and keyboard stuff) im not a big fan of the font for them, can i change those and everything else be fine with it?

I have a razer huntsman and this keyboard, this keyboard has won my heart and I've been using it for almost two years now has never broken once or had any problems this was the greatest purchase I've ever made

since both keyboard have the same switch, does that mean they’ll sound the same after adding custom keycaps?
