I'm from NJ and years ago they had a gun buy-back. No questions asked $200 (and this was back in the early 90s). K-mart had single-barrel shotguns for $80-85. Was tempted to buy and turn in a few.

We'll, I don't agree with the last selection. It is a very long gun and would only be good for a tall shooter. Not practical enough. I like the rest you picked. I think the Ruger 10/22 is fine even though it does not utilize all the types of 22 anmo.

I do agree with most of your choices as far as shotguns and rifles are concerned, specially 12ga and 22lr, but man... a Glock for a pistol... Glocks are really pistols for those who don't know nothing about handguns... Personnaly my go-to rifle is a good ol' lever action 30-30 and a pump action for a shotgun, BTW very good and interesting video as usual !

M77 mk2 is an awesome gun, i have it in 30-06 was a graduation gift. Absolute beautiful gun and stupid accurate, same hole at 100 yards. Had trigger worked on to get a 3lbs trigger pull, it was almost 7 lbs new.

Mossberg 88 is in my opinion, the best utility gun

Personally, I'd say the most utilitarian pistol would be a .357/.38 revolver with a 6 inch barrel specifically. Good range, simple to operate, common caliber, several bullet weights, bullet types, powder loads, and being a proven design for a little over 150 years. Drawback is reload, but normally one shot and whatever you hit is down.

My dad reloaded 12 gauge for trap and one time put a hot load into his BT99. Cracked the stock and cost like a grand to fix. Should have tested it on the savage haha

A glock the one gun so good the first thing the owner does is change all the part so it's not a glock anymore, but glocks are the best🤔🤫🤐

That's fine but my choice is a 12 ga. Single shot , with a couple barrel inserts is just fine !
