How are hordes an endgame thing when the death train horde is right at the beginning to take out

Faced my first horde tonight... Death Train Horde. I was getting lavender for boozer and there they were. I said "eh, i got one full auto, good enough, let's go!" some pretty intense shit! Environmental hazards came in clutch. Great game, very underrated imo.

Have you got to face these ? I was really enjoying the game until I came across a horde then it was game over immediately. I’ve not got the patience to be dealing with hundreds of zombies so can I just run away and avoid them ?

As someone who has been call of duty zombies for more than a decade all I needed to do was upgrade my stamina to max 😆 and lots of ammo

The way I did them all was by cheeseing it with the bike. I’d go to the horde shoot a bunch, then get on my bike and slowly drive away, just enough so I could still shoot them from my bike.

My “defeat the horde” percent is only at 3% 💀 i bought the game in 2019 and I’m only 21% done with the game. Ofc I took a few months break but this game is huge 😂

this game is really difficult even on the easy levels takes forever to get any decent upgrades without constantly dying. Need to use cheat table engine to even make it playable game.

Its really not something you need to drag out to 10 minutes for the watch time. Literally just make sure your explosives and molotovs are topped off find horde quickly throw explosives before alerting then start running and dropping molotovs behind you keep your distance turn and shoot and repeat

First horde I tried fighting was at sawmill with a crossbow, pistol, and .22. That was a mistake.

how can you run by seeing back side

The very glaring feature in the game is that you can't set up "Fire Traps" or any traps in preparation for taking out hordes.

Find a bush, hide in said bush, throw an attracter, throw a bomb/molotov after they group up, wait a few moments, repeat. Should get them thinned out enough to finish off with guns

Picked up and mg45 from a ripper… and all of a sudden I’m shooting hordes… from a very far distance… but I’m doing it. Lol

The auto shotgun is next level. It’s almost too good.

Attractor + Molotov = how you fight horde

I took one out super early that was over top of a nero site and on a railroad track by just riding over the fringes with my bike, riding away, repairing my bike, wash rinse repeat. I was like level 3, died a whole bunch of times, but refused to give up.

⚠️Pro Tip⚠️ Leave your bike at the edge of your running range based on stamina and pointed in the opposite direction for fast exits. Drive away until they stop following you and they will flow back into their cave. You can pick off the ones at the rear and or repeat the process. High stamina, high capacity/fire rate weapons and molotovs are your friend!

Playing the game for the first time in 2022 on PS5! Unsure why this game got so much hate :/

Anyone can kill a horde with those weapon on last stage of the game, try it when you have start level 1 weapon and no upgrades. Now that is a challenge. Kill a horde with starter pack on early first 2 hours of the game.

i started this a year ago and hated it deleted it after couple of hours but decided to recently give it another try its buggy in parts but ive got into it this time. ive avoided hordes as much as i can these tips will help me out once i get the firepower to start taking them on

I take out all 40 hordes and never fire a shot during the game

Use explosive atractors and grenades when horde chase you. Throw it in front of you while running. Turning you lose time

I usually try every one I see like “oh I got this” and then 2 seconds in I’m like “oh I don’t got this” then about 20 seconds in I’m like “I REALLY DONT GOT THIS”

If there’s a ladder nearby climb it and pick the zombies off one by one

I just hide from the hordes and wait for them to leave the area 🤣

I use both level 5 guns there just the best

I remember a time I was eliminating a marauder camp, next thing I know I start hearing the music that plays when you see a horde. The horde flooded the whole camp. The upside was that the camp was cleared, the down side was they cut me off from my bike. I was ill equipped because obviously the horde wasn't part of the plan. I ran quite a distance trying to get to a nearby encampment or Nero camp. Until I got distracted getting freaks off my back and I accidentally ran off of a cliff. I honestly wasn't even mad, I literally laughed if off.

I lured iron butte horde to cloverdale, they can climb in over that security booth but they cant get out of the fenced area. I actually did that yesterday but its my like 6th playtrought😅

Days Gone 2 where are you

Very specific "tips" that are only useful for endgame players. None of this rubbish is helping me get through the gated story having to take down hordes to progress. Useless.

Almost threw my computer out the windows after randomly choosing to take on my 1 horde "Old saw mill" , hate is not strong enough of a word.

Not so easy when your playing on Survival mode two

I just started this game. And saw first hord at Nero. I ran away and will never ever go there again.

Took my first horde the first day of playing this game. I did it slowly. They didn’t come at me at the same time, otherwise I wouldn’t.

I couldn’t complete a single horde 😔. I finished Days Gone today. I feel a bit embarrassed that I couldn’t do even one but no matter what tactic or strategy I tried, I would only get 75% of the way there every time ☹️

not a lot of zombies spawn for me, i think is cause i have it in the hardest difficulty

When I was first playing the game I thought that the horses were optional so I played like normal, rifles normal molotoves all that then I played the first horde mission. I got recked
