Great informational video!
ОтветитьGreat break down…I’m gonna start making my own instead of playing them to do it at the landing tackle shops
ОтветитьGreat info on the component sourcing. I do it pretty much exactly like that with zero failure in 3 years. My variation is, I use a heavy split ring on the bottom crimped loop instead of the infinity solid ring.
Ответитьperfect time for this video! thanks!!
Ответитьthank you! great video
ОтветитьThank you! This was very helpful. I'm going to start making my own before trips.
ОтветитьDude you make some great tutorial content. I found you through the knife jig tutorial which helped me rig a few myself. The cost breakdown is perfect for anyone looking to do all the stuff themselves too.
ОтветитьAwesome video encouraging me to do my own. Website for items?
ОтветитьGrate video. very help full. Thank you
ОтветитьSup brotha, I got into making my own leaders as well. What are you doing to test the durability of the leaders? I just got back from a 3day trip and got 1.
ОтветитьGreat video man!! Love the detail of each item used and the cost. Keep it coming!!
Ответитьnice video man.
I've been eyeing up some of those swivels 9KM...there's others that appear to be the exact same as well...how are they holding up for you? I'm about done paying for Spros, Kroks, etc ...
Great detailed tutorials! Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you for a great tutorial. You are not using a spring is this a reason.
ОтветитьJust watched this video, great info. I am going to start making my own leaders instead of paying $8.00 or more. Thanks!
ОтветитьAwesome video man, new to west coast tuna fishing so I need all information that I can get.
ОтветитьHey brotha I appreciate the video...do u have links of where all these items were purchased?

Ответитьjust watch your great vidio .I am going on a 3 day fishing trip out of San Diego on May 22, 2024 i want to make my own 200 lb leaders where do i get all materials you used. This will be my first Blue Fin / Yellotail fishing trip Three days on the Exell boat. I am takeing my Grandson he has never caught a fish of any kind before . I have been Marlene Fishing several times, and Salmon Fishing. And sail fishing. So very excited about this trip. Thank you for any help you can give me about the equipment for leaders crimping tools, everything
ОтветитьGreat video. I learned alot about the proper way to rig these knife jigs fir those big tunas..thanks...
ОтветитьI'm doing the same thing I learned a lot great job nice video
ОтветитьCould you use this same set up for popper leaders? Maybe lighter mono, call it 140lb? Or how would you change? Thanks
Ответитьthank you for all the information you and I wanna make my own liters and now that you showed me about how to do it now I understand a lot about it. I’ve seen some videos where they make them different. Were they attach a ring on the lower side extra ring and they hook the hooks. Said the assist took to that instead of today the knife jig but I need the reason for that is they said that the the fish could use the knife check as of I guess of a lever to rip the hooks out their mouth, but it didn’t really make a lot of sense but anyway, yeah, thank you for the information you’re really really very knowledgeable
ОтветитьThanks great detail I need to put new line on all of my trolling jigs
Ответитьit's a fabulous video, a video like few I have been able to see, clear and detailed.
I have a doubt when it comes to tightening the aluminum rivet with the crimping tool , I don't want to damage the fishing line with the pressure of the crimping tool. when you know that you don't have to do more force?
Greetings from Spain, and thank you very much
Thanks.
ОтветитьGreat video. Well put together and through for someone just getting into the game.
ОтветитьSaw these for sale from a tackle supplier for 38.00 ea. I made these for quite a lot less.
Ответитьthanks bro, appreciate the details on the hardware
ОтветитьIt's crazy to know the only time ypu would use 200 to 300lbs fishing line. Is when targeting off shore tuna.
