The gate you stand is part of Natolin Palace and Park complex and is known as Moorish gate. This is one from elements of romantic assumptions Natolin Park, designed by famous architect Henryk Maraconni between 1834 and 1838 year. Along from brick alley (ulica Palacowa) leading from the road from Wilanow, toward the palace, was the main entrance to the Natolin.
Around 15 years ago, the gate has been beautifully restored. You can't enter to Natolin Park just like that. This is a nature reserve and can be visited only a few times a year, during a special tour. Free places for such walks quickly disappear :) On a daily basis, only people studying at a special postgraduate school, which is located in buildings in the complex, can move around a fragment of this area near the palace.
