Old Forster 100 is surprisingly good for the price point.

That's all I used to drink during my drinking years. I still have an unopened bottle of 121 proof Rare Breed Wild Turkey that was a gift from my friend who owned a liquor store. I've had it since around 1994 or so. 🙂

I have always liked wild turkey 101, very good.

Whisky is Scottish. I drink both my favorite Burbon was old Grandad. But my favorite whisky is Balvinie 18 year old.

WT 101 has been my go-to since I discovered it. I'm 55 and have only drunk bourbon for 5 years. Of those you rated that I've had, WT 101 is first, Maker's mark is second, Evan Williams and Four Roses were poor and JB black and JD are undrinkable. The black is the only alcohol I've poured down the drain and I only use JD when I make ice cream drinks like black cows. Has a metallic aftertaste to me.

Just found your channel, great video. Liked the tastings of the bourbons and your opinions. Personally, I don't have a "nose" for the bourbon, I just like the bourbons. Tried WT 101 only once and have loved it from the first taste. Will buy a bottle soon, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Thanks again for your insights on the bourbons.

years ago I drank Old Ezra 15 year old sour mash . 1980 it was &15.00 came in a wooden box .my friend and I would go to the state store in Ohio ,and pick out 3 or 4 bottles and do what your doing , tried Old Ezra , and liked it so much Id drink a shot in the morning before breakfast , great channel

100 Proof Bourbons are too much for me: the alcohol stands out. Decades ago, I liked Old Forester in a lower proof. It WAS a bit sweet but it went well mixed with the Coca-Cola formula on sale in those days.

Great video. Glad I found you guys. Kinda reminded me of an old Red Skelton skit based on What would it be like if you were allowed to sell (and taste) whiskey on TV? You guys got funnier and funnier as the video progressed. But it was great to find a cheaper alternative to my favorite (up to now, I suppose) of Knob Creek ($36 here). Looking forward to trying that Wild Turkey 101. My Dad used to love his Four Roses, though. Oh well.
