1 year later discord supported on both xbox and PlayStation. It's over for guilded, not that it ever began

My PC doesnt lag at all. It depends on ur CPU & the programs your running while running guilded. I can run a game and it still works fine where as discord lags a bunch for me when im playing a game. Guilded was meant for if your playing a game with friends its more flexible and works with your games CPU usage unlike discord going against it. It also varies on the person because alot of people enjoy creating servers and bots and love to organize the platform which is the reasoning guilded has so many features. Those were all requests discord threw in the trash, so guilded made them. I personally use guilded as its better to me. I have alot more i can do where as discord you need an extension to do stuff with it. Like themes, i need the better discord extension just to change a background. It took discord 6 years to add basic themese and only nitro users can use them. Guilded was built for people who don't have the money or don't wish to spend money for stupid features that should be free.

Honestly rn its really cool extra features but bonus points they dont charge for the same thing discord nitro charges for. Like , sending large files. Custom and Animated Emojis. banners etc which is great. Its a little buggy it seems. What I was want to know is if the Guilded mods aren't duchbags like discord mods who will terminate accounts with literally lies and ignore appeals . Guess I will learn soon enough. But the "ban wave" on discord is moronic. They will literally keep up servers doing awful things like posting csam but then terminate people and servers for no reason, or a made up one. Anyway. I truly hope Guld8f is better in that sense + I hope guilded fixes its bugs soon

The programm has potential, but many things to do before... Needs to lower the resources it takes, make it appealing for normal users. It is useless when it is only appearing for Popular people, because no normal people will have it, just for a famous person. xD

I keep it in mind, and wait about 1 or 2 years and check it out again.

It’s an absolute mess, yet has great features. Discord could learn a lot from some of Guilded’s features, but I think overall, Discord does better as a communication platform.

Guilded: Unlimited Emoji, large files upload, GIF profile, all Discord nitro features are free from Guilded, rolo color is better, the bot is ready you can make bot from guilded and config it. and more features for those who wants free no need to buy nitro you can use guilded...

Discord: yeah other features from guilded is same from discord the difference is you need to buy nitro to have them.

2022 update?

guilded is actually a pretty good substitute to discord in 2022. Its definitely been way more optimized in the last few months, but I don't really use it often. it has really good features though and the webhooks are quite easy to set up with discord.

i think guilded would be way better if only it had been as popular as discord, because then they would make money and have the possibilities to pay for better servers, update it better since they can make it more like discord, where its more like a corporation rather than a group of people who made a program, also one huge upside to guilded is that its not such a shitty browser based app like discord is where it takes as much cpu for just having it turned on or being in voice chat

As far as I see you're just giving Guilded a hard time. Only problem I could see is the overusage of system resources and slowness which is most likely fixable and the lack of bots which is only caused by the lack of popularity. Other than that I don't know why you're so harsh towards it. Featurewise it's basically a better Discord and for free. And what kinda complaint is this idk but you don't have to use the calender, the schedule and etc. You should even praise it. The calender is especially good for large communities but it could easily see use for reguler servers. Schedule would definitely be a valueable feature for those who make use of it. If you have a friend from overseas, if you are a busy person, you have a project going on, school, study sessions, meetings... I don't know why and how but you made bot creation seem like a redundant feature and a turn off when my eyes went wide open for seeing such a service being provided. Blog-like profile is, again, a great feature. All in all, I don't understand the negativity for a better Discord.

I am a FOSS with a tinfoil hat type of guy. I'd rather use Element. There is no point using this over discord, it's exactly the same.
