The reason you could call the fire dept. is because Batuu isn't in space. This is where all the hate for JtB is misplaced. It's not another planet. It's not the Star Wars universe. Batuu is a Star Wars theme park with a roleplay element. That's why it's a vacation destination, has replica souvenirs of items like blasters and thermal detonators, there are no Force powers, light sabers can only be used for sparring, alien NPCs are just regular Sims in masks and, unlike the actual alien planet, Sixam, you can use your phone to pay bills and call for emergency services. So many people got upset over it not being a "genuine Star Wars experience" but it was never meant to be. It's a Disney theme park Sims can visit and roleplay as Star Wars characters.
