How to build a pallet rack tree stand, footings, anchors and lots of hard work

technique. We
did ours a little differently because we had no idea 20 years ago how to do it.
We didn’t put footers or bury the legs. We used heavy cables on each corner attached to an anchor in the ground.
Worked great an all stands are stable after 20 years. Just another way.

I've seen garages, sheds, desks, .....and even racking made from pallet racks.
I've been thinking they would make light weight gantry's for lifting truck beds and cabs off frames. ( Toyota owner here ).

( I use stones and firewood chunks to block the wheels on my auger. I don't use concrete on my fence posts and switched to a 6" bit....so I needed a way to be Robin Hood with my hole shooting ) tHanks for the great video!

I skimmed through your other videos looking for the “update” on this project. Did you ever finish it? Run into problems or concerns? I see this video is 2yrs old and I see you replied to another comment about 1yr ago saying that you were going to double the width. Would love to see how it turned out. My step father is getting up there in age and wants to build an elevated stand. He’s a scraper and has some pallet racking. Told him that would probably be the best way to build a solid long lasting foundation. I really like the idea of concrete tube to anchor off.
