YouTube Notifications not always working? THIS is why you MISS OUT on videos!!

It doesn't work even when I put it on all

My problem is I’m not showing any notifications on my inbox I see people leaving comments underneath each video and yet in my inbox it shows no comments and I have all my notifications turned on any suggestions how to fix that?Oh it says in my inbox is your notifications live here subscribe to your favorite channels to get notified about their latest videos? It just started today out of the blue

Recently my notification scroll only shows 10 of the most recent notifications while is shows 30, and I can't scroll to the rest.

Anyone else have this problem?

I only just noticed that my last notification was from about the time this video was uploaded... ugh! It just never clicked. I log in, look at the bell icon and if nothing is there, I start browsing the homepage.

I still miss notifications even though the settings of my important channels are on ' All'

Nice try but all that is crap. Videos do not always show up on subscriber feed. I have had videos show up on the home feed that we're not on my subscriber feed or on the channel video page. Try to explain that one. I certainly can see how all you creators are frustrated. Between that garbage and being demonetized for no reason it's insane it's a money grab on their part. All that said love your content please keep throwing it out there I will watch as much as I can.

Hi, for some reason I'm not getting the option to select, All, Occasional or none when clicking the Subscribe bell.

I want it even easier to change, a Notification choice in MY menu (under subscriptions) and then get the list of "Manage all", and also with a "change all" option.

The bell turned itself off and I still get the notifications

This is hidden on purpose.....so ppl they pay promotions to be pushed in front. Disgusting you tube...disgusting

My settings were correct. "All" for those channels where I have chosen to click the bell, and "occasional" for those without.

Also it notifies me about random you-tube channel.
And when i first subscribed to storme's other channel not all of the video were shown in my subscription feed.
Do they filter that too?

Well that’s not fixing the problem.
I have turned all notifications on from you and yet I didn’t receive any notification for this video.

My sub page is bookmarked I can scroll down all the videos and never miss any of them. I never go to the main page unless I'm bored and want to see the recommended. But it has a habit of only showing vids that I already watched or am subed to, so I rarely check it.

I personally wasn't aware of this, so thank you for explaining :) Also, it seems like the bell icon next to each channel in the "manage your subscriptions" settings changes if you have it set to occasional or all, so you can see at a glance what your channels are set to, although I agree that it could be more obvious.

At first when you subscribe and hit the bell, it'll send you a push. But if you don't click on the notification within an hour of being sent the push it'll start phasing out notifications to you. So why are you not getting the notifications.... it's cause you are not clicking the notification when you get it every time. So if you find that you stopped getting them, fastest way is to unclick the bell, then click again and when you get a push notification click it.
