Thanks for watching my iPhone 15 Pro Max review - over to you guys, are you enjoying your super-priced brick, or maybe tempted to buy one?

I'll probably get an iphone but I'm not sure.i had samsung for 7,8 years and honestly I'm afraid that my life would go south with this phone. Any suggestions?

Ive been switching between this and the S23 Ultra and my Pixel 7a.After further review the ruling on the field is the S23 Ultra is the better phone by a long shot

Upgraded from the 14 PM to the 15 PM and I’m loving it! The small changes really make the phone feel different and a better experience! Yes I’m glad I upgraded.

Totally biased review. I’ve had my iPhone Pro Max with 512 RAM for one month now. It’s one of the best phones I’ve owned. Now way I’m ever buying a Galaxy. Android phones get hacked all the time. Apple is very secure and the phone integrates well with the Apple ecosystem.

The only reason I got the iPhone 15 pro was for the Apple Log for video. I have no desire whatsoever to use my dslr anymore, there is so much headroom with exposure for all three cameras; I can vary my exposure by 3 stops and still get roughly the same end result. With the Blackmagic app I can also keep my file sizes small with H.265 encoding and record straight to camera even at 60fps.

Smartphones have probably plateaued by and large in terms of what they do. There was a period where each year there was some exciting feature that was added. I've had the 15PM coming from the S23 Ultra. When the s23U came out, it was hyped, particularly the camera. While it was a solid device, especially where battery performance was concerned, I felt a bit let down. Now with the 15PM, is it perfect? Nope. But it too is a solid device. My point is it all depends on what you are looking for in phone and which model you're upgrading from.

Now that the Pro Max able to play a freaking PC/Consoles games..the price for it doesn't worth for it anymore..because what? No PC like functions..even easy drag and drop file manager isn't there..if you wanted to make a small device able to emulate what PC can do..at least make it properly..i can just forget to get Mac or anything Apple other devices if Apple made the iPhone all in one devices..to make up for the price..

What are your favourite Anime’s?

This year I had the S23, the S23 Ultra, Pixel 8 pro, OnePlus 11, etc... 2 devices stand out; the S23 Ultra and the iPhone 15 pro max. Overall, these are the 2 best. But it also depends on your interests, it remains personal preference. An example; For me, a video camera is very important and a little bit of decent zoom is also welcome. iPhone max and S23 ultra were the best, the iPhone is the best video camera. I think the software is all good, but Samsung's is preferred, followed by iOS. The screen at the pixel is the least, I think it is too matte, less bright than the iPhone and S23 ultra. Don't confuse theory with practice. The OnePlus 11's brightness is not good enough and the pixel and the OnePlus 11's video camera leave a lot to be desired, not very satisfied with it, I also don't like zooming in and out.

This iPhone gave me the worst eye strain I’ve ever had, even after just a few minutes of use. It also had really odd camera quality. Everything seemed overly sharpened and unnatural. I sent it back after a day.

I had the pixel 8 pro and returned it because of the poor video quality, fingerprint sensor, battery and now the display issue and switched the first time to iPhone in my life and I’m thinking about to return the 15 Pro Max because of CarPlay, stupid navigation gestures, stupid notifications, no auto battery saving mode, keyboard, the issue that iOS is always using safari even though brave is my default browser and ofc because Siri is dumb af and doesn’t work with multiple languages at once. As example I live in the German speaking part of Switzerland but because my girlfriend doesn’t speak German we speak English. If Siri is on English Siri doesn’t understand messages that I receive on German nor will Siri find a German address e.g. navigate to Hauptstraße 12. If Siri is in German Siri doesn’t understand my girlfriend’s messages while driving nor can I use commands like e.g spiele dua lipa of Plexamp.

on the Face ID thing , there is options in the settings to add mask option and a second face look with beard or hat etc, Face ID at least in my use gets it right 99.999% of the time with hat beard or not with mask , or in pitch dark.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your beloved Pixel 8 Pro weighs 213g vs. iPhone 15 Pro Max's 221g. The Pixel is 3mm wider and just as tall. I can't remember seeing any comments about gym and workouts in that review :p Also, the 256GB Pixel is £1059. That's just £100 less than the iPhone. Money I wouldn't spend on either of them.

I found the scrolling on facebook and instagram and other apps stutter and janky. Anyone else experience that?

To each their own but i just dont get how anyone could watch video with that giant cutout for the camera. More of my phone use is yourube or streaming so i just cant go iphone. I love the software and the design but i'm comitted to android til they work out how to put it under the display.
