Thank you for this insightful video. I can also attest to the fact that SwiftPOD's prints are faded and always come with spot peel offs like some dead pixels. Dimona Tee also had dead spots at places.

I've had really bad experiences with printful where the design peels right off. I dont trust them anymore

I researched Monster Digital and here is a review from just this past June 2023. Too bad I can't upload the photos this poor guy showed as proof to back up his comments - the clothes looked TERRIBLE......

Every single provider I have tested has been pretty awful. There is clearly no quality control or quality assurance at these print facilities. They don't care about quality of the products that get sent out because it is so cheap to them, they just want it out and shipped and if the product sucks, they will send another no sweat. But that does damage to customer confidence.

I have over 4,000 product variations synced with Monster Digital and have done ~$5,000 in sales (140 orders) in my first two weeks (launched June 3rd).

I have already had multiple customers who have sent pictures of prints falling off the shirt after first wash, crooked prints, misaligned prints, and even a customer who received a blue Hanes tee (when I only use white and black AS 5001. The order had 4 of the same tee, and some how they thought that a blue Hanes tee was part of the order instead of the same tee as the other 3 in the order.)

It is almost comical how poor the QC is with Monster Digital, and every other POD provider I've tried in Printify is equally as bad.

Please help me as I don't want my company to be destroyed because Printify and Monster Digital's inability to implement proper quality control.

Did you ever consider how these would hold up in a wash test? And see how long they would last?
One might look more appealing now but after 5 wears and washes it might not have the same quality as the lesser looking design initially

The biggest difference I found is that Printful is easier to calculate taxes for non-us citizens.
As Printify is American-based, it makes tax calculation really confusing.

Nobody talks about that part.

One thing I’ve noticed with printify is because you’re choosing a particular printer in particular country then if people from a different country order from it they’re going to face high shipping costs. With Printify, can people order from one listing but get a local shipping cost based on fact that Printify has a local printer in a lot of countries?

Living in Barcelona, Spain and using Printify may incur additional costs due to shipping from the United States to Europe. This can result in higher prices for your products and make it difficult to sell in your store due to high prices. Thanks

Great explanation! Question: If a t-shirt design is listed with Printify, do you choose the provider for each order depending on where customer is from? For instance, if you are in NZ and a customer is is NZ too, can you choose the best provider in NZ through Printify, and for the same shirt for a customer in the US, order from Monster? Or, do you have to ship to all customers from one country, maybe US?

The main reason I use printify is simply because Printful takes forever to load the product page, like 8 MINUTES! And it's not my computer. So I went with printify and after my own product review (I ordered a shirt with the same print like you did) and printify was far superior across the board.

HI @wholesaleTed, how do you navigate the price conversion between printify and etsy. ie. if your store is in AUD printify sets the usd prices as aud. ie. 1usd item show in etsy as 10aud. do you have to do a currency convertion for each product in printify and what happens with exchange rate fluctuations.

Thank you again for another killer/gracious video…and with that..I have a question that I’m sure many people have: If I am offering a shirt with 6 color options, Im making (on placeit) 6 mockups and then a video and it’s VERY time consuming. AND if it’s a design for both men and women, I make another listing and another six. So my questions are 1. Am I wasting my time? 2. Should I only show one mockup still and one mock up video and then just have the other color options listen as they navigate? Or am I offering too many choices? 4. Should I be doing male/female separate listings especially since I’m trying to work up to 100 at least (I’m on at ten or so now). Hi amazing video, I’m starting up POD in Australia and I’m really interested in using Printful. However what confuses me is location of products and delivery times. Do sellers using POD focus on their own country only, which limits which shirts/mugs you can use? Or do you start with a global search of t-shirt providers and you are actually selling and creating a global store? I can’t seem to find any tutorials covering this. Thanks 😊

In short... Printful is to sell worldwide and Printify is to sell in your city, is that it?

Been binge watching your videos Sarah, am seriously considering selling via POD, however will probably go with Redbubble initially as I’m a complete novice.

Okey Monster Digital seems sweet. But if 30% of customers are in Europe they will have to wait for up to a month for shipping. Printful picks the closest one.

It’s a issue with quality of service and also extra carbon emissions. So is it possible to change different providers (or automate) what provider the customer gets the product from on printify?

Appreciate how informative you were on both companies, really helped me decide how to move forward with an Etsy store!

Hey, thanks for the comparison. I still struggle in deciding which I want to use primarily to keep my products as consistent as possible. The one thing that Printful doesn't make easy, as compared to Printify, is that they don't streamline adding different designs to different color variations. And only select few suppliers on Printify offer the customizable packaging and labeling that Printful does..... Do you have any answers?

I'm new to this and have a question about choosing the printing manufacturer on Printify. If you can only choose one, e.g. the US company suggested, what happens to non-US customers' orders e.g. in the UK? Do they have to wait weeks for items to be shipped from the US or is there an option to automatically switch to a different manufacturer in the UK who will produce the items and ship them to the UK customer? If not, Printful seems the obvious option for worldwide customers. Have I missed something obvious?

The problem is that the customer service and quality control reviews for most print on demand sites are really bad. Find one that has great reviews. SO many consumer complaints have been registered with Better Business Bureau,
