Ghana economy: Power rationing leaves residents in the dark

Ghana’s government is struggling to pay its debts, including money owed to independent electricity producers that are threatening to cut supplies.
The International Monetary Fund has just agreed on a new billion-dollar-a-year bailout programme over the next three years.
In the meantime, millions of people are struggling to keep the lights on.
