Are AYATO Constellations WORTH it + What Cons. should you STOP at!? Genshin Impact

I am skipping because I am low on currency since I am saving for Yelan.

I'll do a couple pulls and try to proc the 5* but I'm not gonna be mad if I get Jean instead. I'm not in love with him and already have every Hydro character so not sure I need another

Omg yeah, I was wondering which constellations to get. I think c3 is a good place to stop. It’s like c3 or C6 at this point for me. As for why? I just like the dude, I want to main DPS him. Regardless. He will be tripple crowned.

Cody, you’re mistaken about the taunt. Some one explained it better. His taunt was like itto’s with 1hp. It wasn’t taunting it’s for stacks

It’s purpose was to taunt enemy to pop it so you get max stacks. Now you just pop it on an enemy and immediately gain stack instead of waiting

I'll get Ayato and Yelan to add Hydro character in my team.

I'm more of a "quantity over quality" type of guy, so Ayaka is in 2.6 then I'll definitely roll for Ayato. C0 is fine

Absolutely going for C6 + r1 Haran 👀
Luckily I can afford one C6 char once in a while, last one was Raiden and honestly I have never regretted C6ing her.
I'm loving Ayato both for his aesthetic and his kit/gameplay style, plus all the assumptions about his personality really get me going.
And the fact he has so many references to Sosuke Aizen from Bleach in his kit/lore is just priceless

I want him too.But I have garanteed Raiden C1. And I am far from pity. It really does not look good.

I think he needs a HP% sands, judging from the C2. I have been farming for a atk% sands. 😓

For me, I stopped determining if I'll pull or not before release. I do look at leaks and have an idea but I feel like I really need to see it in game before making a decision.

Raiden was due to be a disappointment for me. It's not bc she's bad or bc I don't like her(I like her a lot) but my expectations were so high from the hype that she could be near perfect and she never would of lived up to what I was expecting. Meanwhile characters like Ayaka and Shenhe are two characters I had zero interest in. Then I tried Ayaka in the test trail and did her story and I realized I had to have her. For Shenhe it was when I got to use her in the event with my team I realized she was a lot of fun. Yae Miko on the other hand was a character I was hoping to love and just didn't

So I stopped predeterming what I'm going to do. I have the primos and from what I know he seems promising. I could see myself loving this character and I could also see a world where I don't find him necessary for me. So we will see on release, I really have no idea if I'll get him or not right now

His c6 would be worth pulling just for the cool factor, sadly it only procs once u.u

C6 is useless as it only activates once per e session.

Getting the C1 and the Haran if I get lucky

His c4 also buffs himself now. The bonus %normal atk dmg from his burst alone also does buff himself too. So i think pretty much all of his cons aside from c5 buffs his skill.

he's already good in c0. The only 5* cons that are worth pulling for imo are c1 hutao and c2 raiden

Since they took his taunt away I’m honestly wondering if i will pull. I thought it looked incredible and it made great use of his elemental skill so now I’m bummed out 🙁

Sadly I don’t have any more pulls I’ll probably go for him and his weapon if I get lucky and save for his rerun haha

If he needs constellations then I’m making him a support than dps.

Let’s hope Hoyoverse changes more characters cons to be worth it getting c1 and at the most C2. C3 onwards should just be a slice of life benefit. Nothing major.

I have 7 crowns if I truly like his game play I may triple crown him. My first three are with Kazuha tho.

I wanted ayato long before we even had a confirmation that’s he’s going to be playable! the only other character that checks all my boxes is kaeya so I’m very excited to finally pull for him

I am getting Ayato C0 for sure. Even prefarmed everything for him already. But I will save the rest of my primos since we are getting closer and closer to Sumeru. I might go for Haran as well but only if the other weapon on the banner is good. There are rumors that Ayato will run alongside Venti => Haran with Elegy. If that is the case I am pulling 100%

Just gonna get him at c0.. don’t have any luck with constellations… and as a bp and welkin player… I don’t have enough primos… have 48 fates and 56 pity…. Only gonna hope to get lucky in those 50 around pulls

I’m guaranteed to get him and is excited to have him on my team. As xinqiu is very demanding coz of his hydro application, it would be good to have another hydro applicator for different teams. And I recently pulled jadecutter so all i need now is good artis :(

Sorry Ayato, I am slightly disappointed with he's character design, but all of my primo savings are going towards Yelan and that Kuki Shinobu all the way!

Just one copy of him is enough for me, but if I'm lucky to have a second copy of him on the same pull I will accept

i got already all the wishes to get him, i'll try to get his weapon and if i don't get it during the time his banner is out i'll try to get another 5*

I'm saving for ayato and already have 35 wishes for him and I will use so much to get a ya to and then try save for ayaka

I managed to get Raiden C2 so now I'm stuck between Engulfing lightning, Kokomi or Ayato. I mean like I said if Kazuha is next patch I'm gonna skip Ayato otherwise this is a tough pick.

At first, I wanted Ayato. But then kazuha's banner is announced after. So yeah. kazuha>ayato

for me its a choice between kokomi and ayato. since i lost the 50/50 on kokomi :( im guaranteed ayato so if i dont get kokomi by the time ayato drops then i go for ayato

I am going to get as many ayato constellations as i can with 130-140 wishes and 46 pitty, i was originally going to go for c0 and his weapon but i have been working on ayaka's artifacts and almost have her to where she doesnt need the bp weapon so i may just put it on ayato.

Since I need a second true DPS, and I like Ayato's design, would probably go for C1 if possible. And likely then will have enough fates left over for Kazuha! (Been saving for the last 2-ish months, have around 170 and will be ending around 210 fates by Ayato's drop. I may have more if I hold off instant rolling for him when he drops to see what people think of him first.)

Well at the start I was planning to go for C6 but then I reconsidered and I’m probably going to stop at c3 or c4 since his C6 doesn’t have that spark like Ganyus or Xiaos C6’s have

I'm doing free wishing daily from scraps gem i got for either final constellation of Sara or C3 shogun.

if i lose 50/50 and got someone else than mean i have guarantee in pocket for dendro archon.

2.6 to me is save up patch so i can go back and build my old character.

My general thoughts on constellations is that casual players (like myself) don’t really need them. He’ll still be a fantastic character regardless

I love ayatos design and voice, but if they don´t fix his ICD on release like they did with kokomi, then I have to skip him, since a hydro unit with bad element application isn´t good at all, he has 20 more energie cost on his ult compared to ganyu, while having less dmg, a worse buff and higher cd

I agreed with your take and already parked him at c3 before watching your video. I think c6 is just “win more” and wholly unnecessary.
