Spatie Media Library Pro: Laravel File Uploads with Great UX [REVIEW]

To display images from the Media Pro is it the same as the standard version?

From my quick testing so far it seems that when you add multiple conversions, they are all performed on the original file. It would be more performant if a converted image is used to create the next conversion, in order of size, and so on.

In my case I have 8000px images and I need 1600px, 1200px and 400px versions. The method I created does that conversion in 4s, including generating a blurhash from the smallest size. With Media Library it took around 45s without a blurred option. Haven't tested it yet so I'm not sure if the blurred option would be generated from the original file, but that would make it even slower.

Do I just abandon the register media conversions method in the model and try to home roll that part? Seems to defeat the idea of using a package then.

Is there a progress bar for each file during upload? Also can you upload large files like 2GB or more? Thanks.

Spatie has good Tools but the fact they use Location based pricing is pretty Bad. it is 409.77$ (Switzerland) vs 192$ (singapore)

Thanks for the video, I think this package is missing one more thing. Does it a media library like Wordpress to reuse already uploaded file? or do we have upload the image every time to use it?

What happens if you download pictures using pro versions, and refresh the page or leave? The download interface will be lost, but the pictures will remain in storage? This method leaves a lot of garbage on the site that will not be used?
