LED LCD TV REPAIR sound but no picture, black screen, dark picture pt1

I have a samsung led tv the one side of the sceen is blurry and the other side is fine xould it be the flex cables in the back that is faulty?

Why if has no backlight and standby 5v and no BL on 3.3 I need to replace?

What if I'm only getting 70volts steady (69.5v) testing the power at the led driver board? It acts the same plugged and unplugged (driver board) it starts at 135ish and falls to 70ish and remains steady? So no 120 or 100,but 70v?ugggg, It's a 43in vizio exactly like yours in the video. I keep thinking it's the leds but now I'm not sure? It does EXACTLY what your did. Ironically haha. I appreciate any info and direction

I do have sounds but no picture. But i can see the menu graphics when I push the button. Might it be just something that brings the video signal to the screen then? I tried all the cables possible. Hdmi, scart, usb , the one with three colors etc.. i can always hear the audio only

I have a JVC tv that turn on and after a while the backlights turn off, there is no way to get them to come on again but turn the TV off and on again.

I’ve times the time it takes for the backlight to turn off and it’s different every time, any ideas what’s the problem 😅

Led tvs are not the same as lcd tvs, change your title

And how many back lights in it better to keep the screen 50% of of the back light because then 100 percent because it will be hard one the TV

With high and low voltage with the power supply I seen defrent one it depends on the size of TV screen

Not all tv is like that

I have an LG 55UM6910PUC it just shows a blue/Green screen. When it first happened there was audio and you could switch channels but no picture. Now there is no audio so I can't tell if the channels are changing with the Remote. When it first starts you hear the startup sound but the screen just goes to blue/green.

I have Samsung un70nu6900fxza The tv when I plug it in keeps turning the back lights on bright then dim and off. It keeps repeating that cycle. I have replaced the power board but that didn't fix it. I'm at a loss for what to replace next.

I have a 50" inch philips with sound and barely you can see inside, probably led or power supply. The voltage going to the leds is 38v and after 20 sec drops down to 25v . Any idea If it is leds or power supply?

Okay, Tampa Tec... I am new to TV repair and appreciate so many of your videos (some I have watched 5 or 6 times). You do more than just talk, you show where, when, how, why. Thanks to you I have replaced my own powerboard and the LEDs in my Sharp Roku LC-50LB481U. This all got started from a black screen issue. (Could see with a flashlight) So, my backlights are working now, but when I turn on the tv there is just a blue screen that does grow darker until it appears black again. There is no Sharp icon on the screen when powering up. The flashlight doesn't work in this case. I don't want to end up replacing every part on a poorly designed tv. With what I have stated, do you have any thoughts as to what my issue is now? My gut tells me since you could see with a flashlight before the LED replacement that maybe I didn't do something right when putting it all back together.

Hey man my backlights all work fine the tv turns on when I open it up and leave it open for a while but then there’s no picture or sound if I turn on my tv the next day. What could the problem be??? Would be much appreciated. I feel my power supply is faulty?

Help I've got an LG 55 UM7100PLB the set was working exsept for a pink tinge to the back light, found a replacement, tested replaced and reassembled,
now i have sound a backlight and no picture whats going on o and the t con is part of the buffer board, please help confused and frustrated.
