Before drawing conclusions about Magnitsky and Browder, you have to check the documentary ´The Magnitsky Act: Behind the Scenes´ by Andrei Nekrasov. The same producer who made a documentary about the poisoning of an ex-kgb agent.

The thing is people in russia haven't cared at all. For them this case or many many other cases were absolutely normal way of things going on in russia. Slave nation with just very little normal decent people.

I read Red Notice. For the first time I read a book that is nowhere near my interests. I am not in to hedge funds, stock markets, high finance, and things of sort. I am a veteran that loves video games. I just read this book out of curiosity, and my wife left it on the night stand. So I borrowed it, read it, and turns out to be interesting to say the least. It just makes me sad for sergei, and furious at these bastards. I truly hope for much needed justice for sergei.

I've just finished the book Red Notice. The more I read into the last few pages of the book, I got more and more upset with Sergei.

I just wished he listened to Bill Browder, Vladmir, and Eduard to leave. Sergei was way in over his head believing the Russian will shield him from being arrested.

Just finished Bill's book, so well written - as cliche as it sounds - I couldn't put it down. Although not surprised by the corruption in Russia led by crazy Putin, Sergei's story is beyond heartbreaking. We have to admire a man with such integrity and conviction, sacrificing everything in the end, no matter what was done to him. We need more people like him. RIP Sergei.
