ОтветитьWatching from UK,beautiful ,scones
Ответитьbonjour , vos scones ont l’air moelleux , je voulais savoir le poids en farine. merci 😊
ОтветитьNo BUTTER, what?! But what yummy thick cream.
ОтветитьJust came across this recipe...so it's old and I have no idea if anyone will see my question. Please translate what "soda water" is in the United States. I have no idea if that's club soda or just water with bubbles or what. Also...is the cream heavy whipping cream or half and half or...something else entirely? Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you Yvette, so lovely to hear an Australian voice, Love this recipe, am going to try it is all different variations.
ОтветитьExcellent video. I am abit confused with all the working of the dough as well as the gradual addition of liquid near the end. We were taught to add all liquid at once as well as not handling the dough too much
ОтветитьI've used a recipe with the same ingredients, but you sift the flour 3 times to maximise the air. You're right, they never fail. 🙂
ОтветитьWao just tried it and i think it was my biggest baking fail ever! They don't look like scones and they don't taste like scones. It's ok to eat but don't know what to do with 12 😂
ОтветитьAwesome job...Going to try it and surprise my wife!
ОтветитьHelp, please. Is the cream used what is called in the USA heavy whipping cream?
What is soda water or plain sparkling water?
Double or single cream. 😋
ОтветитьTq Maam....ooh ooh lala ......cream!!!!!!!scones!!!!!!Nice n easy...you are so pleasant!!
ОтветитьI will be trying these . My favourite are blueberry and white chocolate from Bakers Delight. I have never had success baking scones so I gave up years ago. So now I can make my own. Yay!! And I think I will shape them by cutting with a knife.
I love your presentation too. No music is great. And you know the correct kitchen tools for mixing ingredients. I cringe that people use a whisk for mixing everything on so many videos.
Thank you so much for a pleasant informative video.
What kind d of cream is that. Us cream is not that thick but buttermilk is
ОтветитьToo easy !! Thanks for sharing they look delicious 😋
ОтветитьI just want to know what is so healthy about white flour and cream?!
ОтветитьLove Scones thanks for sharing will make it❤
ОтветитьI always failed making scones
ОтветитьLook wonderful...double or single cream? Mickey UK at last sun 2 10 23!
ОтветитьI’m sorry to say we’ve tried this over and over again following the instructions exactly as shown and we failed miserably they just do not work out the mixture was a slopping mess we had to add loads of flour and the mixture was still sloppy and unmanageable
ОтветитьWhen you say soda water sparkling water theybare both different , which is best ?.
ОтветитьCan you use a bench mixer?
ОтветитьThank you i dont bake but i will try this one ❤
ОтветитьWOW WOW THANK U SOOOOOO MUCHHHHHHHH VERYYYYY VERYYYYY EASY WILL MAKE FOR THE WEEKEND (SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦🇿🇦)
ОтветитьCan’t get double (thick) cream here, only single (whipping) cream. What could I use instead?
ОтветитьHi.
Love this recipe. Can I use cooking cream ??
Nice. Thanks. Been looking for this. Aussie Bob 😊😊😊
ОтветитьToo difficult there’s a lot easer and better recipes out ther. Sorry but no thanks
Ответить❤
ОтветитьCan you add sultanas to the dough?
ОтветитьI was delighted and excited to hear of a 3 ingredient scone recipe, just suitable for our fishing trips, less ingredients to pack and it quick and easy. Thanks for the no fuss method you presented the video.
ОтветитьYea thankyou for the easy recipe
ОтветитьAmazing , wanted to ask , anything we can replace sparking water , anything vegan ?
Ответить? You said you want to cook them in a really hot oven, but then you said you to have your oven set on 220 degrees, ??? That’s barely keep warm temp? Excited to make these but am I really setting oven on 220?
ОтветитьWill make these, never liked the lemonade method as I don’t want sweet, I’ve never used egg in mine only sr flour milk melted butter and a dash of cream always judged the amount to get a very moist consistency it’s never failed, use to fuss with the old fashioned way of crumbling the butter and flour ect too old now at 76 now I will definitely do yours 👍😀🌺
ОтветитьI melt a fat chunk of butter and dip scones in em 😂
ОтветитьI tried this recipe and it worked really well. Simpler than the traditional recipe that I used to use from Julia child. I followed the recommendations in the comments and baked it in a muffin pan
ОтветитьWhat type of cream is it you use?
ОтветитьI live in the uk so please what cream am i supposed to use as your saying 38% fat thankyou
ОтветитьWhat’s the nutritional information for these? Calories, fat, protein? Thanks 🙏
ОтветитьJust use less liquid!
ОтветитьIt's scones not skons
ОтветитьGreat recipe will try it tomorrow - Julia South Africa
ОтветитьYummy
ОтветитьYou said to bake scones very hot oven 229 degrees is not very hot at all. It has to be more like 420 degrees. Please correct the temperature. Thank you
