I watched this about 3 months ago and applied many ideas...now when guests come on..they say "it's so cozy in here". ✌🌠

Your channel is Posh PENNIES, but this is the second time I’ve seen one of your videos lead with an expensive idea. I can’t invest $1k in smart lights, even if I wasn’t renting. A suggestion to change all the bulbs in the house to a warm color is doable, but you push really hard on the most expensive option. Why?????

This is why I might watch some your videos if they pop up in my feed, but I don’t subscribe. I don’t need million dollar design advice; I need affordable design advice. The millionaires aren’t watching your content; they have highly paid designers instead of a video.

Be aware of how the light affects your paint colour. If you go with a 'warm' light bulb, it will have a yellow colour cast and that will NOT look good if you have, say, blue walls. I have very pale blue walls in my bedroom, and put a cooler lightbulb in my lamps and overhead light to enhance the blue. It is so restful and peaceful. A warmer, yellow bulb turned to walls to mud.

Smart lights are the best imo. The 90s black light nerd in me is so happy with them. The great thing about faux plants... is you never have to worry about bug infestations. I just lost several because we got drain flies after a summer rain. Im still mourning... 😭😭

I've heard that orange has a positive mental effect, but personally I just can't stand orange or anything even related to orange. I internally cringed when I saw the orange rooms on this video. I won't even plant orange flowers in my garden. The only time I can tolerate any orange at all is at Halloween. So I guess it doesn't have the same effect on me that it has on so many others LOL. My taste is all the major items in neutrals, and splashes of color with flowers, artwork, throw pillows, etc.

I like the tips here but faux plants are disgusting I don't know why these interior shows promote them. allergy causing bad Feng shui too. I wish these shows promoted more sustainable ideas not crap that ends up in land fills. buy real art not some mass produced bs even if you have to make it yourself so much more meaningful than some random print. the designers I work with design around original art that supports artists and adds value to a space..

Try not to Wear your outside shoes at home - that made me chuckle :) my hungarian Mother had a hard time in Canada when people visited us and they didnt takę off their shoes at the door. Mom had a collection of home-made handcrafted embroided knitted crocheted slippers shoes and mamusz(hungarian for indoor shoes, warm soft and cosy) but many people opted them out. After some admiration to the art on them.

I cannot fathom a kitchen or a bathroom without a rug in front of the sink and bathtub. The dripping is insane, especially in front of the sinks.

I absolutely must be able to wash all my rugs (and pillows) so I love Ruggables and blankets (Mexican, Korean, random) on the floors and layer them boho style.
