I think the little Bitc# thinks he’s justified for some entitled reason but I also think he wants to go to jail .. for many selfish reasons.

Monsters don't exist or yes BUT in fictional way... I dreamed killing my parents who are the worst but in "society" they are truly loved.

Defense attorneys have a tough job. It’s true everyone is entitled to a fair trial and representation. Thank goodness for these attorneys who help the wrongly accused but getting stuck with a monster like this has got to be painful.

He is sitting there with his nose in the air and I have to wonder just what has he done for which he can be proud? Obviously he cannot be proud of the horrible things he did to his parents, but even apart from that, what has he done? He's never held a job. His scholastic record is nothing to brag about. He was a professional student who had spent about a decade in college and still had no degree. His social skills are pretty much non-existent. And yet for SOME reason he thinks he is the smartest person in every room and thinks there is SOMETHING in his life that gives him a reason to hold his head high. I guess there may be some consolation in the fact that if he spends the rest of his life in prison he will NEVER have to earn a living and that seems to be a high priority for him. What a disgusting sorry excuse for a human being. He is a total waste of good DNA.

The judge called him evil and said he was without remorse but I think the thing that stung Joel the most was when the judge said, "He thinks he's a lot smarter than he really is." ATTABOY, Judge!

So glad the judge pointed out that Mr. Guy showed no remorse and in fact looked like he was proud of what he had done! And that he didn’t see any possibility of rehabilitation even if they had 500 years to do so!!!!!

The irony is that this horrible man will now be incarcerated for the rest of his life, rent free. So all in all his entire life will have been paid for by others. SMH.

The thing is,here,in response to his lawyer's request, with a client, that's never worked 1 day in his life,if he were released in his late 70's,no retirement,no social security,due to he never worked,can be a threat still,cause then desperate for money again,& being one that will do anything,may rob banks or whoever then,thinking that money is all his!This man deserves a old style dungeon,bread & water only,no commissary,no visits,for life,no possibility of parole,no consideration for it either!Had parents that loved him so much,paying for everything to make sure he is set for life,& then this,sickening!No remorse,nothing,throughout,wow!No record in the past,who cares,when he does these horrible things!

That sweet grandson, reminds me of my own son his age, can't imagine him being put in such a horrific emotional state bc of a monster 😢

This is just a warning up for his judgement. Wait till he passes and faces God! You are suppose to forgive but you can never forget. This family seems so good natured and very tight with love and happiness. This Joel Jr. Has Satan ahold of him. He shows no remorse. But wait till he sees our creator. God be with this family. The judge actually said " he watched Mr. Guy and sees no rehab and a matter of fact seemed proud". How sickening. God bless this family. My heart aches for your hurt. There is no excuse for this.❤️🙏

Turns out he wasn't the smartest man in the room.

How big was the font of the grandson's message to cause him to have to swipe his phone FIFTY SEVEN TIMES as he read it??? And yes I counted. And that's not even counting the swipes I couldn't see through his arm at the beginning of his message.

I was laughing at the fact this monster boiled his mom's head because, I am an insensitive monster at times. HOWEVER I was totally humbled when kid gave his victim impact statement. He was NOT a small man thin yes but small no. He held himself making himself at once look so small and so vulnerable. What got me is how he held himself. How he hugged himself to get through his painful words. His calling the male victim his Papaw broke me as his voice cracked. This dear child's pain was so palpable it thawed my normally cold heart. The kid broke me because he was in such deep pain it was OBVIOUS to me! My heartfelt prayers & hope for healing are his!

How does the defense lawyer even do this. I'd just be like 🤷‍♂ put this psycho in the oven.

I watched this trial and I can't imagine what this family has went thru..Joel Sr. and Lisa, you were loved by so many and I pray for your precious family left behind.. I will never forget this case and the details are horrific 😢. I think the Judge, state, and all that were involved did a superb job. Joel Jr deserves the death penalty for what he did to his Dad and mom. I hope you suffer everyday you are in prison. You are a devil, a monster, a lazy freeloader and a Killer!

For this particularly heinous crime perpetrated against his parents he should have received the death penalty

He will suffer and die in prison. Crims think nothing about killing a man who killed a woman in the way he did, especially his mother.
