I'm going to bet they have another house they live at the entire year. There is no way they are moving out every thing they own and moving it back in. Doesn't sound realistic. The kids probably have their own residence. The story just sounds better to say they actually live there.

If I were them I'd be pissed the Bachelor people keep tagging themselves at "Bachelor mansion". It makes it so easy to find the house.
