Bruh I am using "Office" keyboard that is from 2008 that I bought 2009 when I bought me my 1st pc.I am playing on it and its just fine.

The only mechanically keyboard I have touched is the road hog lighting console. I don't think I'll want to hear, or anybody else, the click sound when you press the key

It won't make you a better gamer, I've got a nice entry level RGB mechanical keyboard and mouse bundle. It had great reviews and I can see why. It's my first mechanical keyboard and works no worse or better. What it does is feel and sound great. It's an absolute pleasure to use and the RGB makes it a pleasure to look at. What it may do is reduce the amount of keys accidentally pressed or missed but I've not used it long enough to tell yet.

I'm a high level age of empires 2 de player, and I still need the rgb on my keyboard when its dark to find some keys.

i got a 20 buck keyboard at a type of dollar store type of store, works fine. obviously not the best but it works and thats what i needed.

There's pretty much no difference except the better ones feel... well.... better... I've been playing Tarkov for 7 wipes as of right now, and for my first 3 wipes I used a $12 mouse and keyboard combo from Logictech... I had to get multiple of them because I used to smash them but other than that they worked beautifully... I used to clap as many cheeks as I do now and I don't even have a "high end" keyboard or mouse... My mouse is $32 and my keyboard is $60.... both RGB and the keyboard is fully mechanical.

is it just the mechanical boards that make the clack clack noise when you hit the keys? if yes, then i dont want mechanical.

I mainly just want a wireless RGB non-tenkeyless keyboard, and the Corsair K57 is the one that looks to have the best balance between features and price. I plan to do most, if not all gaming with an actual controller rather than a keyboard, so it’s good to hear that it seems to be good for what it is; I personally don’t care much about whether it’s mechanical or membrane. Thanks for reaffirming my choice.

Non-gaming keyboards often have problems registering several key presses at the same time.
The keyboard actually registering all your commands definitely makes you a better gamer.

Try the Wooting with leeker switchwes and rapid trigger it made me a good gamer movement wise. My aim still sucks but thats not the fault of the keyboard^^

YES! Without a good, clean keyboard, your keys will stick from Hot Pockets crumbs and your FPS character will turn in circles and other repetitive commands.

Something like a Logitech K120 (their $8 wired keyboard) this is really difficult. It's not a "soft touch" like the Microsoft one in the video. But the keys move up and down with tactility though its neither expensive nor made for gaming.

I think a good Chiclet Keyboard with good response time would be better than a MX-type mechanical keyboard. You have lower travel, and its much easier to repeatedly press buttons or lift your finger off.

Im saying this as someone who is super into keyboards, I have MX-type, Alps, Alp clones, Buckling Sleeves, old rubber domes, Topres and Buckling Springs. I think in terms of pure comfort, ergonomics and responsiveness chiclets are the best as they reduce finger travel, usually have a lighter weight, the tactile event and registering is almost instant, and you have more budget options than any other type of keyboard. You will notice most speed typists use chiclet keyboards.
