what you failed to consider is the poor individual who was the victim of sniping on the GE. They probably put in an offer of 1gp to sell and ended up with 50gp when they couldve high alched it themselves for a 3k profit at least but they were trusting in the system to benefit them but it ended up only benefiting a sniper exploiting the trade relationship. It's morally dubious my friend.

This might be really stupid, but I had a thought about something that could be interesting. I have been spending a lot of time at the GE training skills and trying to make money on my first RS character. People are constantly dropping all kinds of things there. I'd be curious to see how much money could be made purely by picking up dropped items.

My comments is buy orb that cheapest and if you complete varrock dairy buy them and high alchemy when you finish complete them into battlestaves of one of the 4 (air, water, earth and fire) you probably get little more gp. The only thing is you need exactly gp to buy them. As a example 10 @ 7 is 70k gp you can't buy one at a time but if you trade him instead of the barrel then you can build from their. The example i gave doesn't work at you can buy 7 of the first one is 15.

Why not just buy the fire staff for 1500 att the staff shop?

High Alch- 240
Minus cost at 164ea
Total profit per alch 76gp.

You won’t even be able to alch fast enough to keep up with how fast you’re buying in GE.

The problem with this method, is that you can easily sell an item on the GE for 1gp on another account. You probably didn't, but the fact that you could makes it feel lackluster to me.

I used to put a handful of low volume, high margin alchs in overnight, like the torn prayer scroll, lava battlestaff, mystic lava staff, dragon med helm, and then I'd do black and red d'hide to finish out the buy slots. I'd have about 100 alchs with around a 500-1k margin, and the d'hide would be another 400 or so at a 300-400 margin. So for like 15-20 minutes of alching, I'd get somewhere around 175-250k. I'd bring them with me while running around finishing the daily tasks.

I thought it was like eBay and you put in your buy price and it will give you whatever the cheapest one is at. I've been overpaying and undervaluing everything I buy and sell...
