So in case you're curious a lifted car is faster in a straight line. It's because ground effect by nature causes drag.
The tighter the hole, the more work it takes to move that air through.
You'll handle better closer to the ground, but speed I'd found in the vertical

this is what happens when you mix NASCAR mentality with European road racing at it's finest. Monza combined will always be in my top 5 track layouts for the chaos it brings.

no damage last lap, zou lose to much before oval, 0,7 behind 5 car, and 5 car was 0,5sec behind 4 car so be inteligent and configure what happend?

Reminds me of the racing scenes in the movie "Grand Prix" when they were racing on the old Monza track.

I participated in this race. It seems like for a lot of people chicane appears out of knowhere or they just forget how to use a break.

I’m loving some of your crash races. Shows that even the good racers have issues, makes me feel a little better (not because your race was ruined) but because it shows your passion still to keep going

Dave you go to pay your crew chief a bonus for this race the amounts of still there he had to churn out was incredible

As a racer who jut got into D class road while I have a B class Oval rating, you know the only part of the race I do amazing in is the oval😂

Christian Perez and his teammates are the best Skippy racers on iracing. Skippy specialist.

I like RaceLab and all, but I haven't subbed in a while because they won't do a copy/paste layout feature. So for me to do a custom prac/qual/race, I have to recreate everything for each session. If only I could copy/paste one session to the next, creating layouts would be exponentially faster.

Raced there in these days. Got bitterly disappointed because I've managed to test all the ways to get wrecked. Got fairly angered with it apart from a race where I've got a P2, least chaotic for me.

The silver lining is that I was privileged enough to compete (like you in this video) with Federico Leo (former Formula Renault 3.5 and GP2 Series driver, competed in 2014 at the 24h of Le Mans, 2011 GT3 European champion, 2012 International GT Open champion and 2016 Italian GT champion). Really nice guy.

I have a saying for situations just like 4 wide at Monza Combined - I'll be happier later if I'm not here now. Good call on falling back and letting it play out ahead of you. ETA - I'm gutted for you. That stinks you had a small amount of damage to the aero. HEY HEY! 4th! NICE! That race had everything. I laughed. I cried. 4 stars and 2 thumbs up!
