I still use Win 10 on all of my machines and find it snappier and more stable. Will likely only upgrade in 2026 when Win 10 reaches end of life.

The user interface is still atrocious in Windows 11. This is what has kept me from upgrading. I just can't get over how awful the start menu and the interface is - still!

I had installed windows 11 when it had its first developer build out but now I have reverted back to windows 10 as there was sound crackling issue in windows 11 after an update and I reinstalled windows 11 to see if the problem was fixed but naah it wasn't and performance has improved on my laptop with windows 10 my ram usage was around 52-53% in windows 11 when my laptop was idle but in windows 10 its 42-43% cpu usage was never less than 3% but on windows 10 it touches 1% while playing need for speed heat fps hovered around 25-35 in windows 11 with lag and stutters but in windows 10 its 35-45.....as for specs I have ryzen 5 3550h gtx 1650 8gb ram and 512gb ssd

As long there still is the Bug where the explorer just pops up on Windows 11, no way. Microsoft is aware of it for nearly one year now, but was unable to fix it. Lot's of people out there whis this annoying bug.

I know that not all of us have the opportunity to buy the latest of the latest in terms of hardware, but there are people who have computers from 10 years ago and want Windows 11 to work well with such obsolete systems, being a modern OS. In my case, laptop legion 5 pro with Ryzen 5800h, 32gb of Ram and RTX 3070 not a single failure, not a single crash or incompatibility with software or hardware and I have had it for a little over a year now. In my case I don't have a single complaint.

There are big changes in Win11. Some important settings are missing, it's buggy as hell, slow and volume is very low. Win10 is stable and much better

I don't know what about Windows 10 its good, just stability does not shit down randomly, nothing else its good, sluggish lagg and 165hz monitor with cpu that have more then enough power to push it its why i hate Windows 10, probably gonna try windows 11 to see if that its fixed

I don’t recommend Windows 11 still. I still have right click not responding with all of my pc’s including my laptop. Still feels slower than Windows 10. My games are still running better with 10. Most of the new 11 features are not working as supposed to and useless at least for me. Settings UI is so stupidly organised especially app’s settings. And many more little annoying things keeping me off from Windows 11.

I think Microsoft should do something new, instead of one new operating system every three or fore years; they should create three operating systems each one tuned to specific purposes for particular community groups. For instance, one of those three operating systems would be made solely with the purpose of improving and increasing a persons gaming experience, it would be tuned for that and made for that particular purpose, it would still have functions a normal operating system would but it's purposed is for gaming, so the UI, task manager, appearance etc... would be different; the other OS be purposed for there particular community groups, for these particular group they should get with developers, and designers, like for the gamers group they should get developers around that culture for the best possible gaming OS. These OS would be upgraded every 5 years, in-between there would be subsequent patches in stuff. So just three big OS upgraded every 5 years.

I recently installed windows 11, I feel it has series of bugs. I installed WSL and now my dual monitor display fails. Only one shows. I can't even set the screen resolution, it's grayed out. I am downgrading to windows 10 as we speak. If that fails me, I will fall back to my Fedora.

100% disagree, Windows 11 often requires far more clicks to get to basic settings than Windows 10, this may be missed by more noobie users that don't go under the hood very often.

Skipping every other version of Windows has been the right move for a long time and it seems that's not changing. I'm still on 10 and getting ready to format and reload 10 again. Decided to watch a number of videos about why you should move to 11 and I don't see any real benefits to making the change. I guess I'll just wait for the next version again, plus a few years on top of that for the bugs to get worked out.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I think Windows 11 is superb. I was fine with 10, but 11 came on my new PC, and I'm loving it. MS has made great progress in getting the old VBA-looking dialogs into the GUI, so that everything is in one place finally. I've had no problems with it impacting my RTX 4060 at all. Everything runs super fast. The search function is near-instantaneous! It's amazing! Find files on your PC easily now. The search bar is useful finally.

On Windows 11, is it possible to shift the buttons on the bottom bar to be aligned left (just like in Windows 10)? I hate that they are centered. And also, is it possible to make the bar black (instead of white)? These are my only concerns about Windows 11.

Personally, Microsoft should continue giving w10 update cause w10 itself is good and i just dont like the way they make w11 system requirement too questionable (especiallyyyy the tpm that won't even available in older PCs)

I like the look of Windows 11 but I really don't like how bloated it is and how it seems to struggle with keeping itself from falling a prat (at least that's how I feel it is) plus I have never used W11 once without it glitching in some way or another.

Windows 7 with the updates for security by the fan developers and the patches that make it so you can use "WIN10 ONLY" programs with Windows 7 (WHAT IS THAT, MAGIC)?

Win 10\11 sucks and panders to idiots

Just skip Windows 11 and go straight to Windows 12 when it releases in 2024/2025. Since the dawn of time it has always been a viable option to just skip every other Windows version.
