I guess 1998 is so much better than 2020 and 2021. Stupid 365 Days movie trilogy and damn LA Brea aka the bootleg Jurassic World telenovela ripoff with unlikeable and totally unloved characters. Songs from both years are good but songs from 1998 is epic and so was girl powered TV shows The Powerpuff Girls, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Moesha (98-99 season) and even emotionally magical, beautifully healthy romance (no toxic romance Bella and Edward or Gavin and Eve style), great humor and underrated good written TV movies Sabrina, the Teenage Witch: Sabrina Goes to Rome and Hallmark's 2-part miniseries Merlin

I genuinely don't think I can fault 1998. A truly phenomenal year for music, we had France '98 (Carnival de Paris), Chelsea with an armful of trophies under Gianluca Vialli (RIP) and, again, so much good music. Proud to be a 90's kid.
