I used to be quite good at this. Now I just follow the review camera. Not because I want to, but because I have to. Now that rear view cameras are on all cars, the manufacturers design cars where you can’t see enough out the rear of the car to properly parallel park.

Each car has different geometry. You have to practice on empty lot with placed markers.

It took me several times to pass the maneuverability test but I had no problem losing police in high speed chases through dense traffic going triple digits so always found that funny. This world is a mystery forsure

No you don’t.
When you want to park the easy way or in a tight spots, you dive in and out of the parking spot with the front of the car.
You wil already stand with your vehicle at an angle and the back is already halfway in the parking lot.
Now you only have to turn your steering wheel a half turn to the right when driving backwards and after 2 to 3 seconds half a turn to the left. When you need correcting drive forwards and steer to the right a bit. Always keep an eye on the curb for the point of turning back.

[ ] stop the car, brake and clutch
[ ] turn the entire steering wheel 👈 to the left and move the car in reverse slowly while observing in the right rearview mirror if the right side of your car is approaching with the 30 cm distance of Margem in relation to the curb.
[ ] If you don't get it right the first time, go forward as close as possible to the car behind.

I get very close to the parked car (my passenger mirror might be 2 inches from their mirror) and cut the wheel hard when I'm almost/less than halfway back. This will get you closer to the curb particularly if the front/parked car is already far away or too far from the curb.
(it's much easier to park behind a car that's already very close to the curb in other words)

the best of all is to leave the car in a parking!

I just drove a car today and I'm stuck in this sticky mess, parallel parking. I screwed up trying to park the car myself and the car got scratch. Thankfully, it's not a fancy car like a Tesla, Volkswagen or Audi. I'm not sure if I shld drive again tho

I am very good at parallel parking, i use another method of parallel parking which is more faster and easier

A nice video. But one question/clarification.
After you’ve come to a stop and you start backing up, how/when should turn the wheels? That is:
1] Should you turn the steering wheel to the desired position before you begin backing?
Or
2] Should you simultaneously begin backing and turning the wheel _simultaneously_?

My technique for getting into space with ~ 1 foot clearance in front and at rear:-
1. Position car so it is separated 2 meters from front parked car.
2. Bring car rear wheels level with front parked car's front wheels.
3. Reverse car towards space so that the car's inner rear fender is well clear of front parked car's outer outer rear fender.
4. Keep reversing into space until there's enough room to be able to straighten car without car's inner front fender hitting the outer rear fender of the front parked car.
5. Straighten car up and center between parked cars.

This is not a good soultion. It only work when there amble space. So not a good thing to learn. It will leave you hanging in tight situations.

It comes naturally, I didn't follow any of these rules, i just did perfectly after a few tries...I couldn't explain how..

This 2 foot lateral distance away from the car in front is a recipe for failure -- it's all in the geometry. Parallel parking when there is plenty of space behind the car behind which you are parking is a breeze and no special technique is required. But backing into a "tight" spot is the acid test and the only way to do that properly in a limited number of steps is to start off as close to side of car behind which you wish to park. If you can not comfortably pull up close to the side of the car behind which you intend to park, then you better practice that basic "skill" first before going on to parallel parking.

This only works if the other idiots have parked properly!

Yes, EXCEPT, one can have a queue of cars who don't connect with what you are doing and do not give the space to reverse into the space. But yes, a vehicle is much moire manoeuvrable in reverse.
