The 2024 Kawasaki 1000 SX Is The Sportiest Sport Touring Bike Available

Take out the 2024 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 HT next if you have a local dealer. I'm interested in your thoughts on that retro/sport.

If I were not 1600 miles away from San Diego I would let you use my ‘23 Ninja 1000SX for your review. Really enjoy the bike however I’m still not confident enough to push it to its limits as you may be.😊

Of course many of us are curious how you would compare this to the Suzuki GSXS1000GT.

At some point don’t these bikes all tend to be the same in many ways? Hardly a noticeable difference in any of them.

What would be in your experience more confident and more comfortable bike for long trips and city trips, the Suzuki 1000 GT or this Kawasaki 1000 SX?

I'm in the market for a 'new to me 'bike. Currently on a '15 FJR1300a but looking for a lighter ST and the N1K is on the top of my list. Previously owned an '11 N1K but want a '20-24 N1K, the new '25 N1100K or perhaps the new Triumph Tiger Sport 800. Can't wait for some real ride reviews on the two latter bikes but I could easily see myself on another N1K.

The bike is pretty and I do like that you agree with me on electric bikes, I really feel like they are a perversion. It's like it's not enough that we pollute the air now let's pollute the soil as well.

It hurts to see a bike revd with 1 mile and not even warmed up. My condolences for the next owner.

I have this bike and I love it, it's fun in the twisties and very comfortable. The windshield is adjustable btw, there is a lever under the tft screen and it has 4 positions. I recomend the touring shield though (I'm 1,78 cm high)

I'd rather manage a dangerous situation to put myself in a safer situation. As you said, sometimes you need to accelerate to a safer place. I prefer to attack the traffic like Tyson - dodging, weaving, always putting my "head" in a safer place. I see these dudes fluffing along and they are just always in danger.
