And now do this 5/6 days a week for 40 or 50 years and you're all set..what fun !
ОтветитьNo cars at Toyota , nothing to work on
ОтветитьThe “me so horny” killed me lol!!!
ОтветитьYou probably look at this video now, and think glad I left that place! 😁
ОтветитьI got a recent oil change and the mechanic used 5w 20 instead of 0w 20. Will that damage the engine in my prius if you know?
ОтветитьYou actually have to machine rotors there ?? I find that never ends up working out .. how much time do they give to do this
ОтветитьI’m leaving my auto tech career to go to college and get a physics degree. Being a tech for a decade completely and utterly killed my passion for cars, and I worked for Mercedes Benz and Ferrari. You’d think it would be great at the top…..you would think.
ОтветитьAs I semi- retired mechanic I enjoyed your video, just came across it as I was looking at while mechanic are leaving the shops, I subscribed because I interested in what’s your next move. I would suggest mechanic as a side hustle, while you follow your passion and dreams as the next chapter in your life, you can always do mechanic work, heck it’s Covid proof, I suggest by cars yourself and flip them. Best of life ahead
ОтветитьDid you go to school to become a mechanic for Toyota? I would love to get a job like this but not sure what I should do for college
Ответитьi want to come and work with you
ОтветитьI'm going to pursue diploma in automotive service technician & operations and watching this video making me more interested
ОтветитьGood video. What year of Tundra's have the bed light recall that fixes the leak? I have a 2015 so was curious if it's included.
ОтветитьSmog tech here. I see those vacuum tubes on Toyotas disconnected all the time and never seen a code from it. Too small, don't be surprised. Also, I wouldn't say 99% of evap codes are gas caps. Infact I would say less than half, I say it's usually a clogged up vent valve or, purge valve. Maybe it's because you work at a dealership and I work at an independent shop so we see different vehicles. 🤷
Ответитьyou started that new engine without priming the oil systems. your mate is then bashing on the front paint work with a shifter for a joke. maybe chipping up the paint. but you guys clearly don,t care, its not your car is it. unprofessional.
ОтветитьDealers are millionaires yet want to cheat their techs. Amazing
ОтветитьSilly intro
ОтветитьCool video. Thanks for sharing. Yeah, I love being an amateur mechanic (frustrating tho it may often be), but I could never do it professionally. I hate unnecessary time pressure.
ОтветитьHell yeah, Stone Temple Pilots!
Ответитьit's like sound "rod knock" 😁
ОтветитьI like this dude👍
Ответить😮
No "priming the engine" on first start after rebuild...??
😬
i make service appointments at toyota! 20ta02 and 21td03 on those recalls lol? enjoyed your video!!
ОтветитьAt a dealership you are a number. Not a person
ОтветитьDude I love the wrench knocking 😹😹😹
ОтветитьIm learning about mechanic stuff(lvl3 course) while learning in culinary studies ( to be a chef) and im very tired of my work doing both ANY ADVICE PLEASE?
And i do want do both but please give some advice i dont have anyone to ask such questions
You left Toyota over 5 years ago.
ОтветитьAre there young people working there im 19 and im thinking of applying here.
ОтветитьIndy tech here, Ive always wondered how dealer techs get cars fixed, every damn time I call a dealer for parts its not in stock and a week away, do you guys have a secret stash of parts?
ОтветитьVery layback compared to the Toyota mechanics in Japan. In Japan is like ATTENTION!!
ОтветитьTomorrow is my first day as a mechanic, im so excited im supposed to be sleeping but i cant rn lmao
ОтветитьClicked on this video and instantly knew it was all fake, Toyotas never break, what’s the point of having a mechanic🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьLove your day in the life video s.. what do you use to run the evaporator test? TechStream? Can you do a video on that?
Ответитьomg YOU HAVE A DISCORD 🤣
ОтветитьYoooo. I just found your videos after the seeing the UTI upload. Crazy that you're in the High Desert!! I live there, and get my Tacoma's oil/filters from Valley High Toyota. Haha.
Maybe I'll see you around somewhere up here one day. 🤟
Cool video bro. Oh the sweet dealer life. Quick question…I just did a 3” lift on my tundra stage 5 icon. Any problems that you know may arise from it. I wonder if I need to re-gear. My mpg dropped to like 10.5 and I can feel those heavy 35” tires during acceleration. I’m a dealer tech too but not Toyota.
ОтветитьBe an electrician, or an aircraft mechanic. At least you’ll get retirement/pension after all the years. No dealership gives retirement/pension. Stay away from unions like ILWU 142, pay your dues but don’t get any pension.
Ответитьdamn i could never work at a dealership. so boring and basic reparis. its barely even challenging! Thanks for the good content!
ОтветитьThat wrench tapping was perfect timing with that motor lol
ОтветитьGreat video! Makes me miss the shop life.
ОтветитьDid you have to go to UTI in order to work as a tech?
ОтветитьI'm surprised that they let you video tape this and that environment number two working in these dealerships they want you to swap the parts they don't want you to be a great technician which takes away from the job itself of learning the skill especially electronics because they rush you because they got to get the vehicles out the customers are in the waiting area
ОтветитьI think you made the right decision in switching over to trucking !
ОтветитьStumbled across your channel here. I am a Toyota master tech, but am located in Canada. Been there about 8 years and prior to that had 10 years at Ford and a couple years at independent shops.
Ответитьlove the job
ОтветитьFunny how last time I scanned a car it came up with a P0456 on a 14 Ford c-max with 218,000 miles proves my teacher was right when he said power train codes can be universal like this.
ОтветитьI coming for the job
ОтветитьWhat kind of cameras are you using ?
Ответить
