I know im a bit late, but could you maybe make a video on how to build the box and the other „arena box stuff“? I could not find a video on what needs to be where and where i get everything.

Life Crystals and Life Fruit yeeted into a bit of shimmer to get their additional Regen and Armor.
And why not use a pump to move it somewhere where you can conveiniently make Cursed Dungeon walls for farm setups if needed?

max dmg red. is 73% So running beetle armor with a worm scarf, with an endurance potion it will already give you 72% dmg reduction. The other item slots you can now use for dmg but if you want to go all out defensively you can run a pretty good i-frames/dodge build which is clearly op by itself

This setup of armor does tank the moonlord just go in more prepared with potions and buffs to avoid death if you worry about taking too many hits. This armor is great to use against the moon

Didnt work

I've killed about 250 ice tortoises, but still haven't got a frozen turtle shell. However, they dropped 2 ice sickles (which drop chance is 1%, while shell's chance must be 2%). Seems that there something wrong with terraria's math

My setup face tanks master mode moonlord without buffs or an arena or any blocks
And also without zenith
It uses melee summoner and mage with Valhalla set

I tested your armour set but it is just 148

I wonder if its also work in master mode

Also dryad would give h more defense

does anyone know the total defense of this build?

btw, the full defense of the mixed armor set is 80, while the beetle armor provides 75, but the beetle armor's set bonus gives you damage resistance, of course said bonus wont help much if you are constantly hit.

I still can't debate which accessory i should replace for the wings, soaring insignia, celestial shell and terrasparks.

Does it difference what blocks i use to build the box??

if u get a 2 demon hearts then u can get terraspark boots and obsidian shield which removes knock back

Thank you i finally beat moon lord but i used berserkera glove, frozen sheild, celestial shell, worm scarf, and the fire gauntlet with the armer you recomended thank you(normal mode)

Me grinding frozen turtle for 4 hours late at night just to get the ice sickle 29 times:

I swear to god when I was doing my master mode play through I was trying to find the best setup I could get and this is the one I ended up with, I found it out by myself. It’s pretty cool to see someone spreading the word about it tho, because in my opinion it’s the best armor to fight ML in (for melee)

How to make the build better: Full solar flare, no flesh knuckles or hero's shield, swap it for celestial shell and charm of myths. Use during night.

Tanking is about attrition, and full defense is always worse than a combination of defense and DR. Swap to brand for phantasmal deathray and block. It's literally that simple. Nobody should have any issues tanking moonlord with such a setup. Also, use shrimpy truffle for a free 15% damage boost when under 50%, or use the minecart for 20 more defense (both function similarly in real test runs do to faster clear time vs less damage taken.)
