The Real World was a pop culture phenomenon that started in 1992 & was essentially the blueprint for reality tv that followed. Those were cast members from 3 different seasons of the MTV show. I believe it was also filmed in the penthouse at the Palms that served as the house for the 2002 Vegas season, if I remember correctly. Eminem always had a lot of current pop culture stuff in his music and videos.

About the part about Elvis. Yes you can look this up it's actually true. Both Elvis and Em went out of their way to use their "fame" to help black artists and lift them up. Both recognized the black culture that they drew inspiration from.
