I love old Ford tractors I started out on a 19 48 Ford 8 n it was my great grandfather's an I still have it today an it runs an drives I use it to plow an disk my garden an plow snow an pull logs for fire wood I'm looking for a brush hog for it

Dad traded in the 8N for a 1966 4000 gas with a split grille like yours back in the early '70s. 4000 tested at around 47 pto hp and the 3000 at around 39 per TractorData. Good old tractors!

Bro take bottom bolt off the face plate of gear box. 99% of time that's will be your drain and when 3pt raised you can drain it to nothing. Put bolt back in and tighten then refill to check plug and you golden

In most videos, I see drivers driving too fast while using a bush hog. Not giving the machine time to work to do a better job.

I am always amazed seeing brush cutters in action. That's the next bit of equipment I need because I have reached the limit of what I can barrel over in an old sacrificial riding mower.

I have an newer orange tractor also but would love to find a decent old Ford tractor ….ran across a couple over the years but people wanted way too much money for the shape and repairs they were in! The old “I know what I got” syndrome had these people …both tractors were covered in over brown bushes and such! The people didn’t even bother pulling them out! 😅
