I'm surprised how Moga, the true whale level casual player, went ahead and made a reaction guide on top of the fact that it doesnt have a single mistake.

I feel it's worth mentioning that:

Enemies cannot be affected by Anemo or Geo making it so that they're always the ones that trigger their respective reactions. Only exceptions being Zhongli's burst and Jean applying Anemo to the active character, but I don't know much about how they interact with reactions.

Using the element with 1.5× multiplier for Melt or Vaporize is better for a damage dealer because the enemy will loose a part of the original element where as the 2× side will remove all of the element

Not all elemental attacks will apply an element to the enemy. This is because of a mechanic known as internal cooldown (ICD for short). Standard ICD makes it so that you can only apply an element once every 3 hits or once every 2.5 seconds. Most characters have standard ICD but a noteworthy example would be Yao Yao, who can only apply Dendro on a specific enemy once every 2 seconds, regardless of the amount of hits she does.

If any entity, be it player or npc, touch another entity that is affected by burning, they will take the exact same ammount of dmg as the one affected by burning. Making it so that if a character with high em trigers burning on an enemy, they will take large ammounts of dmg in a miniscule ammount of time.

My heart breaks for you to see how much effort and learning went into this and for it not to be performing well. This is the type of video the algorithm will pick up after a while though. Other vids might pop off right from the start, but something like this will eventually just start getting steady views when new and more casual players start trying to learn about the game. Keep your chin up, bruh.

Crying when Frozen gets put in the same category as Burning and Overloaded. People put way too much emphasis on the fact it doesn’t work against bosses.

Idk why people are giving you such a hard time in the comments. I used to make guides for genshin and i’m heavy into TC and this guide was pretty cool (you recorded a lot of footage)

Some pointed out the atk thing with aggravate/spread but other than that, nothing was wrong or anything ty for making this

There are some things i wished you mentioned like how Burning has an AoE and can kill you (just like bloom but instead of taking 5% you take 100%) or why Reverse-Vaporize is used more than Forward-Vaporize (gauge units)

Francis Sanchez
Francis Sanchez - 28.04.2023 07:18

i'd switch Overload and Superconduct ranking because Overload should be A since it can be just as useful as Freeze is can stun large enemies like lawachurls, vishaps and especially consecrated beast but the main advantage the overload has over freeze it as bonus damage and best thing about overload it can coexist with multiple elements which allows you to do multiple reaction while freeze does not and Superconduct should be C if not the second worse reaction next to crystallize since all it does is shred enemies physical resistance you get way better results with Artifacts and character skills and passives the best way to fix this reaction is to make it similar to overload or quicken

Ответить
Drantino
Drantino - 28.04.2023 06:05

only thing i can think of that could add to this is aoe reactions have instance limits that can effect 1 individual enemy in a short set piriod of time of 2 damage instances of a type of reaction, which is an advance knowladge kind of thing. overloaded is the exception if i recall being only 1 instance. this fundamentally does decrease how much damage you think you can do when you dont stack multiple elements for a soup team

Personally disagree with overloaded, as I make great use of it in the overworld when running my yoimiya team (kuki, nahida, yoi, zhongli)
kuki's ring + yoimiya is a good way to stop smaller enemies from getting too close, i consider it a budget crowd control
this tackling a bunch of enemies at once without an anemo very easy for me
but overall very informative!! learned a lot in this one

I disagree with freeze, freeze is much better against small enemies than overload or crystallize which are both useless reactions

Swirl should be S tier due to VV set reducing elemental resistance of enemies

Superconduct is useless unless you play physical dps (S tier, otherwise D tier) imo

PS: No hate tho, good guide

I wouldn’t call it “ultimate” reaction guide, more like “extremely brief reaction guide” because it skips some important parts.
Like electro and hydro being able to coexist on the enemy when they are affected by electro-charged, which in certain conditions allows to trigger both overload and vaporize.
Underlying auras in quicken.
Reaction priority for the situation when there are two auras (hydro reacting with cryo before dendro, pyro reacting with electro before hydro)
Gauge theory, specifically with forward and reverse side for not just vape and melt, but for bloom (yes, really, bloom has forward and reverse side when in comes to aura consumption, but damage multipliers are the same).
Like, I wouldn’t call this guide bad (mostly, aggravate/spread explanation is kind of wrong), but it’s extremely basic
