This content LACKS RESEARCH. So many other celebrities could have easily made this list; each one spaks or spoke at least 4 languages FLUENTLY -- SERENA and VENUS WILLIAMS, PRIYANKA CHOPRA, MARISKA HARGITAY, AUDREY HEPBURN (RIP), OMAR SHARIF (RIP), YUL BRYNNER (RIP), MARLON BRANDO (RIP), LUPITA NYONG'O, NOVAK DJOKOVIC, ROGER FEDERER, ELEANOR ROOSEVELT (RIP), JACQUELINE KENNEDY (RIP), and many...many more!!!
How did CHARLISE THERON make this list when she only speaks two languages?
The average citizen of the European Union speaks at least THREE LANGUAGES -- their national language, English (required at school), and a third language (required to finish secondary school).
ОтветитьThe AVERAGE FILIPINO speaks at least THREE LANGUAGES -- the language of their birthplace (e.g., Ilocano, Pampangueño, Ifugao, and one or more of 172 other languages throughoutthe archipelago), the national language (i.e., Filipino), and English (taught at school starting 3rd grade). Those who are fortunate enough to go to college are required to take two semesters of Spanish.
ОтветитьHow are VENUS and SERENA WILLIAMS not on this list? They are fluent in English (of course) French, Italian, and Spanish. Serena even speaks a little German and Mandarin.
ОтветитьAt least half was lame.
ОтветитьI came here for Greek and didn't hear a single word in Greek. 😢 It was a very interesting video tho.

ОтветитьVoiceover can't even speak English
ОтветитьUzbek (Mother tongue)
Russian C1
Polish B2
English B2
Turkish A2
German A0 😅
Viggo should be number one. Natalie exaggerates her language knowledge. She grew up bilingual Hebrew-English and learned good French in school and through her ex. Her Arabic and Japanese are just phrases.
ОтветитьIf Tom Huddleston is considered speaking a language because he know one sentence, I'm able to speak about 10 different languages. That DOESN'T COUNT
ОтветитьYou PROBABLY didn't know that Latin pop singer SHAKIRA is ACTUALLY of SPANISH DESCENT, and speaks FLUENT Spanish!
Cut to Shakira: "Ley leY lEy LeY le ley!"
I took Spanish class for like a week. For some reason my schedule was changed and I was taken out of that class.
ОтветитьDjokovic thinks and dreams in four languages but swears only in serbian
ОтветитьMi;a Kunis speaks fluent Russian . . .
ОтветитьI'm not fluent in anything except English, but I can speak a little bit ASL, German, French, and Spanish. I want to be fluent in all of the languages and also braille.
ОтветитьWhere’s Daniel Brühl? Dude speaks 5 Languages.
ОтветитьJapanese is SO underrated, when i started learning i fell in love. foreign music is cool and Loki is POG
ОтветитьFun fact: they left out speaking elvish in Viggos resume 🙌🏼
ОтветитьIn europe, it is just normal that you can speak more than one language 😂 as for example, I'm swiss and we have to learn german, french and english at school. And we also are able to take classes in italian and spanish at most schools
ОтветитьOne celebrity that surprised me that can speak another language is Synyster Gates, lead guitarist of Avenged Sevenfold. He did an interview in perfect Spanish. I wouldn’t be surprised if he could speak German too. He’s of Spanish and German ancestry.
ОтветитьMads Mikkelsen speaks like six 6, I think.
ОтветитьWOW! Latin sounds like Italians to me. That last dude was so pissed off with you.
ОтветитьWell, if I use the same criteria as used in this video and other similar about speaking languages, then I personally speak (in no particular order): French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan, Galician, English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian. That's 14 of them. Do I have to become an actor for anybody to be impressed?
ОтветитьI'm from the UK and I can speak Swedish. It always impresses me and warms my heart to see people learning other languages
ОтветитьSavoir quelques phrases ou quelques mots dans une langue étrangère, ne veut pas dire qu'ils sont capables de maîtriser adéquatement la langue.
Ответитьit's always funny when they show Shakira speaking spanish in this topic. She was born and grew up in Columbia! It's like showing Christoph Waltz speaking german.
ОтветитьWhy is no one commenting on the narrator’s pronunciation of “bilingual”?? It’s bilin-gwul. Not bilin-gule. Cringy…
ОтветитьInspiring
ОтветитьDid you add Ariana Grande, because I think she can speak multiple languages
ОтветитьVery impressive. But I am surprised that neither the narrator nor anyone involved in the production of this video knew that "bilingual" is pronounced "bilinGWal" and not "bilinGYOOWal". And she said the word several times.
ОтветитьI'm no celeb, but I can speak english and Spanish fluently and a bit of french.. I also love singing songs in Japanese, but don't actually know the language.
ОтветитьI am trying to learn Japanese and know a little German (mostly just Tokio hotel songs though) and I can count to 10 and say hi, how are you" "good, you? In german and spanish....I know about 3 french words maybe....but that's it....I cant hold anything close to a conversation besides english.
I'm to lazy and my memory sucks to learn a full language ( I have a learning disability too ) but I try
It is funny that speaking a foreign language seems like a super power to the Americans. Whereas the rest of the world had to learn English.
Ответить17 languages in Spain, those are Spanish, the official language of Spain is "Castellano"!!! Seriously it's not that difficult.
ОтветитьKobe Bryant 🏀 spoke another languages as well Rest in Peace
ОтветитьI wish I could learn all the languages in the world!!! But my reality is that I can barely speak English... Lol and I can speak really good Spanish!!!!
ОтветитьI want to learn Māori and German which would add to the number of languages that I can speak to 6.
Being an Indian it's not rare to be a multi lingual but not common as well as India has its many languages of its own and by LANGUAGES I mean LANGUAGES and not DIALECTS of a certain language.
Right now my language count stand at 4 and I hope one day I could speak and use Māori and German in the future 🧿
Just English American style only. I won't travel and Cheyenne is most American English. 6-9-2022
ОтветитьIm completely blown away. Wow
Ответить🤚For a video on languages, the narrator is not saying "lingual" correctly. The g and u make a "gw". 🤦♀️
ОтветитьI would like to learn German
ОтветитьThere are a few incorrections here: Monica Belucci hasn't "the hability" to speak Italian, because Italian is her native language; same as for Charlize Theron, with Africaans. Besides that, it's not a "romantic proof" of Colin Firth to learn his wife's language: everyone who has a bit of empathy, curiosity and brains, would want to learn his/her sweetheart's language! Dialects and languages aren't the same! American English and English are the same language, but different dialects!
ОтветитьWhat about Daniel Brühl? He has spoken numerous languages across many movies
ОтветитьPolylingual? Polyglot.
ОтветитьI legit thought the title was "Top 10 Calebs..." So i was so confused
ОтветитьKobe Bryant was fluent in Italian.
ОтветитьThere is something attractive about multilingual people. Perhaps it's the perception of intelligence or sophistication and of course multiculturalism. I think it is more impressive if a native English speaker is fluent in more than two languages because you don't really HAVE to know another language if English is your native language.
